Uh-oh. A Palestinian admits what all honest, rational peeps knows:

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas blamed Hamas on Friday for extending fighting with Israel in the Gaza Strip, casting doubt on the future of the Palestinian unity government that the Islamic militant group backs, while Israel's premier said the end of the war could mark resumption of peace talks with Abbas.

Is this an example of what we in the West have been calling for? Moderate Muslims throwing the extremists under the bus?

I think, if that is what's going on, that Abbas and others in the Muslim leadership want to escape the appearance of extremism, this is not a good sign for us.

It only makes the global jihadists appear more friendly and benign, making them more difficult to combat or defend against.

Absolutely correct! Hamas' leadership is guilty of War Crimes for exposing civilians to a Russian Roulette of death from the sky while they mostly survived.

They should be sent to the ICC along with some of the Israelis who dropped the bombs especially Nut&Yahoo!

The usual fighting between Hamas and Fatah, two savage terrorists, double headed snake.

Abbas is just an Israeli puppet.

No one in Gaza cares what he has to say about anything. .....

It seems to me that the Palestinians have to share Palestine to somewhere around the 67 Armistice lines, Abbas like Arafat supports a two state solution...Anything else is suicide for Palestinians...

On the other hand, Israel is now in greater danger now from external forces closing in on all sides, unwittingly recruiting jihadists for Islam because of the slaughter of women, children and civilians...

Its Peace now or Never!

They are but baby snakes compared to the King of snakes Israel. ..

Absolutely correct. With Abbas, Israel is in trouble. Hamas has been great for Israel. Just look at the result of the recent Hamas "VICTORY!"

Israel is the source of the problems for the West. Without Israel, the West could give a damn about what goes on. We are paying a big price to keep European colony in the Middle East. If only a new Saladin could emerge and allow the Europeans to leave peacefully.

Even you know that's not true.
Hamas is the tail of the snake, Syria is the body and Iran is the head of the snake. A big disgusting violent Muslim snake
And someday it's going to coil around Israel and squeeze the life out of it. ........

They tried that several times, and failed miserably even though they had every advantage.
But at least you admit who the real snake is in the ME
And as independent said, they (mainly Sunni Muslim trash) are too busy slaughtering eachother.
As a Sunni Muslim, I have not one seen you talk about this, instead you focus on Israel.
You truly are a hateful person, Sunni Troll. You are an insult to all good Sunni muslims out there.

Why Israel can't withdraw to its pre '67 borders.

So much for the unity government and not a thing to do with Israel. My money is still on a 3 state solution with gaza being forced to go it alone.
