You know what has been a huge difference between the republican and democratic debates?

Bernie and Hillary always answered the tough questions thrown at them. Sure, sometimes they gave short responses and then pivoted to other subjects to deflect, but they always at least answered the questions with a degree of truth even if they did throw in bullshit.

Republcans on the other hand, primarily Trump, flat out lie or make no effort to actually answer the question. Trump makes no effort to concede on some past mistake he made. He just pretends he's never wrong. I guess his followers are dumb enough to pretend he has never had democratic positions.

Bernie and Hillary have made efforts to concede to the mistakes they have made in their political careers. Not in all cases, but some. Hillary doesn't lie about her Iraq vote and admits it was a mistake. Bernie can admit Hillary has real foreign policy experience and he doesn't. He also can admit his policy ideas would be very expensive. When has a republican ever done that? They also, for the most part, didn't talk over each other or resort to name calling.

Face it: republicans can't even pretend they aren't scumbags.

Responding to every question with "Because we'll tax the rich" is not answering the questions.

Ted Cruz answered every single question honestly. At this point, you may as well admit you only watched the Democratic debates, and probably not even many of those.

First, there were only two people in the Democratic debates, most of them, and they did talk over each other at points. The only person who resorted to name calling was Trump. I'd also like to point out that Hillary only admitted to the Iraq vote, and made excuses, or lied about everything else, often outright denying things that people clearly saw happen. Bernie Sanders constantly claimed that taxes would not rise due to his policies, which is outright false. They also both perpetuated the "Hands Up Don't Shoot" myth. You're delusional.

Ted Cruz? Are you kidding me? He was the 2nd worse at answering questions. Remember when he was asked about his carpet bombing idea? He completely deflected the question about how that would affect population areas of millions of people not associated with ISIS.

Yes, at the more recent dem debates they did talk over each other because their campaigns became more heated. However, as I said, it was true for the most part that they did not talk over each other. They made an effort to let each other speak. All of the republican candidates have called Trump some kind of negative label, Rubio and Trump especially. Yeah, Hillary definitiely has bullshitted, but according to Polifact, she's told the least amount of lies. Oh and Bernie NEVER said he wasn't going to raise taxes. He made that very clear from the beginning that taxes would go up under his administration. You're making that shit up.

Bottom line...
If Sanders, who ALWAYS discusses DISCRETE ideas, was NOT in the debates, the debates would have been as vacuous as the mud slinging in the Republican debates.
PLUS, the main point inertia of the Republican debates was to prevent Trump from presenting his ANTI Neo-Conservative Platform.

Ted Cruz? Are you kidding me? He was the 2nd worse at answering questions. Remember when he was asked about his carpet bombing idea? He completely deflected the question about how that would affect population areas of millions of people not associated with ISIS.
He was being badgered by the Democrat hosts, and actually DID elaborate on the meaning of those words.

In, I think the second debate of the year, he specifically said that taxes wouldn't spike because he'd be 'taxing the rich'. Politifact is blatantly lying, much like Hillary does perpetually.
A list of just a few lies she has told. Then there are the claims that other Secretaries of state have used private servers, which is false. Then there's the claims that she did not sent classified information through said server, which was blatantly false. She has lied more than every other candidate that ran for president in this election.

No he didn't. He completely deflected the question. Why? Because there is no denying carpet bombing would kill innocent civilians.

Um yeah. Taxing the rich. That would be raising taxes. He always made that clear.
You compiling Hillary's lies wouldn't change the fact that the data says she has lied the least out of any candidate. No one is denying that Hillary has lied about various topics.

He didn't deflect, he elaborated. Democrats just like to think he deflected because they hate Conservatives.

She's lied the most out of every candidate, I literally just showed you that. Also, 'taxing the rich' is just a term for raising the business tax that fools those with wealth envy into thinking unemployment and cost of living won't rise. He also claimed that it wouldn't tank the economy, which is the most obvious lie Sanders has told.

No you didn't show shit. You showed examples of her lies but made no comparison to any other candidate. Oh and the tax rate on the top earners in the 50s was 90% and that was a time of great economic growth.

they didn't get tough questions and when they did get something they didn't practice for, they gave a response, not an answer.

like hills 'response' to; Whats the difference between and dem and a socialist?

She didn't give a list of differences that would have answered the question, she just gave a response and moved on.

A tough question would be to ask her again and again until she caved and said there wasn't any difference.

Yea

The Republican debates were on in primetime and the democratic debates were on at 4am Sunday morning on telemundo opposite the rebroadcast of the Super bowl

lol ... tough questions?

No, you were TOLD that it was a time of great economic growth. The economy was EXTREMELY unstable during that time. People can tell you that having a 70% and 90% tax rate on businesses somehow promotes business expansion and job growth, but to anyone who can actually use rational thought, that's obviously a false claim. It has been proven repeatedly that businesses hire more people for more pay when they have more money, just as logical thought would dictate.

They did none of the such. Answered with vague generic answers. Neither have done anything noteworthy their entire lives.

Um no it wasn't. You're just saying a bunch of things. The actual key to economic growth is taking the tax burden off the middle class and allowing it to thrive. Their consumer spending is how the economy grows. Corporate profits were at an all time high even under Bush and the Great Recession happened anyway.

No, it isn't. You clearly know nothing about economics. When you tax all businesses, they adjust their employment, pay rates, and product cost to compensate. Any taxes you put on businesses is passed down from said business to the people who buy from them, and their employees. A perfect example of this is California, where they have the highest cost of living due to having the highest minimum wage.

Under Bush, there was a terrorist attack on two massive government buildings, that is a large part of what caused the recession.

The GR happened b/c clinton forced banks to give loans to people that would never consider asking for a loan.

He intentionally set up a housing bubble to make his failed economic policies look like they were working.
