'It's a blood bath': Inside the White House blame game as backstabbing staffers and score-settling pundits rock a Democratic Party in crisis

What is the benefit of Dumping? You tell me.
I don't see this as dumping and am not going to read anyone's mind about their motivations.

Democrats' reactions to their loss is absolutely confirmation of why they lost. They're out of touch with the common man, don't respect them, don't understand them, are obsessed with themsleves and their own off the charts uncontrolled emotions, have more than a little problem with mental health issues in some of their loudest supporters and I still don't see any signigicant recognition of just how poor your candidate was and the stupid, undemocratic process you were forced to use to nominate her foisted on you by the DNC.

It's completely blind and stupid blaming racism and sexism for Kamala's poor showing, which is the reason I see given by most democrats for that.

I have no idea how the Democrat party could come back. Trump's Republican party took the ground that the Democrats once stood on, so where could the Democrats go?
This is true. Democrats have abandoned the very backbone of this country - the working and lower middle class, struggling to feed their families and make the rent payment - in order to rally behind illegal aliens, coddle criminals, and weaken the traditional family unit.

SO WHAT? they are not in charge anymore and can't really have much say for the next 2 years. In that period of time, they will change (have to), in order to get anything done.

So what good does it do to rehash what has happened?

WE saw the "common man" beating up cops and smearing crap on the capitol walls. I`m happily out of touch with these nazi sympathizers. The new Secretary of Defense is half covered in nazi tattoos.

The Dems need to face two truths if they ever hope to win another election:

1) Because they placed priority on a DEI pick, rather than someone competent, they were trapped into going with the VP as their nominee. She was the worst candidate in history.

2) The majority of the country is not interested in what is best for transgenders over straights (and worse….having the woke nonsense infiltrate the schools), not interested in coddling violent criminals at the expense of law-abiders, not interested in what is best for illegal aliens over honest Americans, etc., etc, etc.

IOW, Americans do not want want the Left is selling.

Because many of you still don’t understand why.

So evidently, like most democrats, you're unwilling as well as unable to understand why you lost.

LOL. It's the ONLY way you'll understand it. But keep ignoring it, that's good for the rest of us.
You really are only interested in retribution and revenge, aren't you? The future is of no interest to you! You just want to to bash the ones that hurt you in the past.

You certainly are a Trump supporter. You are alike.

If democrats were informed, they might understand MAGA better. That is not a nazi tattoo.

You don't want to understand it, just like most democrats. All you people want to do is scream and shout about Trump and his supporters.

You have nothing of substance beyond that for the American people. It's why you lost but...... never mind.

'It's a blood bath': Inside the White House blame game as backstabbing staffers and score-settling pundits rock a Democratic Party in crisis

16 Nov 2024 ~~ By Emily Goodin & Nikke Schwab

As the results started to pour in on Tuesday night last week, an optimistic mood in Kamala Harris's team quickly dimmed.
With the writing on the wall, Harris herself went to bed, refusing to concede defeat to Donald Trump until the following afternoon. By then, a Democratic blame game was already in full force.
'It's a blood bath,' one observer noted of the rabid infighting – with no one spared humiliation.

Commentary:
Trump predicted a blood bath and Democrats have obliged him by backstabbing and blaming each other...
This is great. Pelosi is destroying the party.
Joe Biden has seemed pretty happy since the election. I wonder who he voted for?
Harris refused to outline her plans, but she did say that her beliefs haven't changed and that would have been destructive to our country. She couldn't manage a billion dollar campaign fund. I don't even want to know how much tax money she would recklessly have spent and probably would have destroyed the United States
It never occurred to Harris and her Neo-Marxist handlers that a large portion of Americans wanted the economy fixed, the cost of living reduced, taxes lowered, insurance costs lowered, crime rates reduced, illegal immigration brought under control, government spending brought under control. Those were issues were most important to most people than N-M Democrat identity politics.
Her beliefs are whatever is popular. Biden had no beliefs. He is an empty suit.
Harris would have absolutely caused even more division in this country - without a doubt Iran would have dragged us into a real multi-national conflict in the M.E. thanks to Biden lifting restrictions that gave Iran massive money flow, Harris would have kept that in place.
With Trump, you can bet your ass Iran is going to get locked down economically again. 100%.
And that will weaken the terrorist groups funded by Iran and a war will be avoided.

You really are only interested in retribution and revenge, aren't you?
No, I was actually trying to help you. Your defensiveness will get you nowhere but maybe that's what you want.
The future is of no interest to you!
Wrong, the future is everything to me. I have 4 little grandkids who are my motivation.
You just want to to bash the ones that hurt you in the past.
Really, where did I bash you and democrats? What I wrote is what I see about your recent shellacking.

It seems to me that you think discussion is bashing. Get a thicker skin if you actually want to learn something.

First of all, I was addressing the OP writer. If I said something to you that I shouldn't have, I apologize.

Second of all, I am not defensive at all. I don't need the help of anyone. I am who I am and know what I know and know what I do not know and if I said something wrong, all a person has to do is show me where I am wrong and why I am wrong. If a person does that, I will acknowledge my mistake and change. Your post seems to be defensive in nature, so perhaps the question should be "why are you defensive?"

As far as you writing about a shellacking, my question to you is why are you doing that? how will talking about that change anything. You could talk about what needs to be done to change the shellacking received but talking about the shellacking itself is useless as the election is over and there is nothing that can be done now to change that. It is now a done deal. We need to talk about what to do from here on in to prevent further shellackings and prevent Trump from doing what he has proposed to do, which will harm our nation.

As far as you writing about a shellacking, my question to you is why are you doing that?
Because it was a shellacking and your party is struggling mightily with why it happened. Do you think its a good thing that democrats are trying to destoy each other with blame for the shellacking?
how will talking about that change anything.
I already answered this question. You don't seem to understand that until you discuss what happened, you'll never understand why and how to address it.
You could talk about what needs to be done to change the shellacking received but talking about the shellacking itself is useless
How exactly do you decide what needs to change without acknowledging what happened?? :rolleyes:

Did you think Kamala was an acceptable candidate?

Did you agree with the DNC in punishing democrats who tried to run against Biden? Were you surprised that Biden was as incompetent as he is after his debate with Trump?

How do you expect to have an honest discussion when you are expressing your opinion - that Trump will harm the country - as if it is a fact?

How about if you acknowledge that the majority of Americans like the following of Trump’s stated goals, and do not see them as “harming the country”:

1) Sealing the border and deporting the illegals in order of priority, starting with the convicted murderers and rapists

2) Trimming down the bloated federal governmwnt

3) Deweaponizing the government so that it doesn’t use lawfare to go after political opponents

4) Getting rid of racist DEI programs

.5) Abolishing the “woke” nonsense our children are being indoctrinated with in the schools

Yes, they should all blame each other. After all, it was a team effort. I found this from Bill Maher kind of funny, even though it bashes Trump and his supporters some but it is still a fun watch seeing him bash the left even more:

~~~~~~
Since when has the Democrat Party got things done to and for the benefit the PEOPLE?
Was it segregation, Anti-semitism, destruction of the family unit, violating the Constitution, Lawfare, opening our borders, or D.E.I.?
why are you even asking that question when the Democrats have no control right now?
I have officially been an evaluator of the stock market for 47 years and people are basically what makes the stock market and people are what makes everything do or not do.
There are probabilities attached to everything and though miracles do occur on occasions, the reality is that probabilities do work more often than not.
Based on what Trump has done and who he is, the probabilities favor him failing and in a big way. When you consider that 154 educated historians have stated that Trump has been the worst president ever, it does mean that I am not alone in my idea of the harm that Trump will do in his second term.
Except for the fact that Trump was a very successful president (until the Communists released COVID) and Biden was an utter failure.
Do some research before you open you mouth to say such stupid things. Do research on the tariffs imposed on China, do research on the debt ceiling, do research on Health Care, do research on Education, and do some research on Trump's approach to Covid.
