I used to believe the same thing, that premarital sex was OK if there was "love" involved. I am 1000% against this today and I have so many reasons for saying that, reasons that may not have much to do with my Faith directly, but rather, reality. The Church is where I got disabused of the notion that premarital sex was OK, but I am also a logical person and the Church never defies logic (despite the accusations against it).I generally agree except I would relax it a bit and say that people should only have sex with those they are in love with. In my book, it is OK to have sex with someone as long as you genuinely love them. Of course, this can sometimes open up a whole can of worms, such as in extramarital affairs. But generally speaking, I agree with your post.
Like I said, people break up and the other one doesn't want to and some people take their lives over t his kind of thing. Then there's the problem of having children without a father or maybe w/o a reliable one.. Fornication ruins lives and destroys society, like termites destroy a house.
It is NEVER indicated. God knows that but most people don't consult Him, especially when they think they are in love.. but humans know virtually nothing about real love. Only God (Jesus) does..
