Zone1 Would it Have Been Acceptable For Mary to Abort Jesus?

I don't know. I am none of the above, but having looked at some Gnostic stuff, it kinda seems like it's in that vein.
Jews have a certain opinion when it comes to things like sin, abortion, and conception.

I could be wrong....
I often am.....
but it seems to me that deeply religious Jews....
deeply religious Christians....
deeply Religious Muslims.... tend to make somewhat similar mistakes that King Solomon warned all of us about..............
.....
I actually woke up this morning feeling that I simply had to begin a discussion on how we deeply sincere religious people tend to make a certain type of error........
.....

I think you are a tad confused.

When you are making a claim that is extraordinary, like you get to rule your own planet in the afterlife or there was this guy who lived 2000 years ago who rose from the dead, it's not on me to disprove it, it's on you to prove it.

With evidence.

Case in point, there are a LOT of holes in the Jesus story even if you take it at face value.

Was he born in 4 BCE before the death of Herod the Great, or 6 CE when Quirinius ordered a census of Judea after it had been annexed as a Roman Province?

Was Jesus' paternal grandfather named Levi or Jacob?

Both questions have been answered a 1000 times. Look it up.

Good question Cougarbear.

I have a suggestion for the majority of the sixteen million Latter day Saints.

Adopt near death experiencer Robert Marshall as an "Honorary Latter day Saint" and don't worry about him reading the Book of Mormon. Just back him up in his mission in life because he is doing exactly what Messiah Yeshua - Jesus told him to do in the forty three hours and twenty eight minutes in which Jesus prepared him for his Lazarus like resurrection.

While you are at it.... Adopt Charlie Kirk as an Honorary Latter day Saint...... and mourn for Charlie Kirk as the Jewish people may soon mourn over the person who they think of as "Moshiach ben Yosef."

I hope my last post to you answered why we won’t adopt anything that doesn’t come from the Lord through his servants, the Prophet. This is the Church of Jesus Christ. Why fuse together with counterfeit organizations and those without Priesthood authority?

Is it not the church of the Father, Yahweh?

Are you putting Jesus as head or the Godhead and breaking the first commandment?

Who can one know how a genocidal God feels about abortion? No one speaks to God but me.

There is a clue though in the Bible, where Moses rejects Yahweh as a valid God, and refuses to continue smashing the heads of babies against stones.

If I use Trinity God's view of the the death of one of his creations the way he does, that S.O.B would tell us to abort away. Souls, all created by God, the prick, are cheep.

Sounds like some Gnositc or Jew shit to me.
More like Christian, Einstein, given how Christians intelligently sing of Adam's sin as a happy fault and necessary to God plan.

They are and it is.

Do your homework neophyte, and come back better educated.

I've actually been wondering this myself a lot lately. If there are any Christians that are okay with abortion on here, what do you say about that? Or would it have been alright with you had Elizabeth decided to abort John the Baptist? If abortion existed back then that is.
I find that a muddled question because Zechariah and Elizabeth wanted a child, but she was barren. People who yearn for a child would not consider abortion. Mary had a choice whether or not to become pregnant. She chose pregnancy, so the question doesn't apply to her life either.

Perhaps the question that we might consider asking is: Should a possible result of having sex result be the conception of a child? If you knew beforehand that choice to have sex would result in conception, would you have sex or forego sex?

I get such replies the moment I try to move the conversation to morality.

You have seen Christians run from this loyal opposer for a while now buddy.

Frankly, when I first met you online over a decade ago, I have to admit that I had difficulty understanding what you wrote. Now I am older, and what you write is making more sense to me now.

Or.... could it be that you are becoming somewhat more diplomatic in how you word your replies so that you assist your students to take merely one small step in the right direction?

I also am learning to be happier even with what seems to be only a small level of agreement. I used to expect a little too much perhaps of online posters.

You can't be hatin on Christians on Jesus' birthday.
Even if you don't support the religion, you'd better be careful hating on someone's God.
That's some bad juju.

Jesus Christ --- definition. A good guy if only human. An evil God if 1/3 of the Trinity.

Proof that the Trinity Jesus is evil is that he reverses Yahweh's condemnation of us for our sins, takes our just rewards for our sins, thus taking our rewards from us. That is theft.

Right?

This is why I celebrate sin—not as a call to moral failure but as an embrace of imperfection and growth. Without sin, without missing the mark, we would have no benchmarks for greatness. There would be no leaders to inspire us, no innovators to challenge us, and no progress to drive humanity forward.
Since you are measuring "missing the mark" sin from a worldly perspective, let's take a look at the difference, using football as an example. The field goal kicker is trying to get that extra yard on his kick. In his mind he still has an imperfection to overcome. This is different from someone on the team becoming drunk or over-eating before the game, doing what he knows will prevent him from giving his best, the team-player's goal. That would be missing the mark of a good team player.

For Christians, missing the mark is giving into the short-term worldly ways and pleasures when one knows that it will make one weaker, and interfere with reaching eternal goals by being less than what one could be.

Jehovah is Jesus Christ. He came off His thrown from the right side of his Father, Elohim, the most high God the Father. He was born and died atoning for our sins. There is one Godhead.

Or... could it be that Messiah Yeshua - Jesus already has "Satan" working for Him to a degree........
.... so that Satan.... lured Hitler down into an extremely low and terrifying place in what a Roman Catholic might term "Purgatory" and a Baptist might term it "hell?"

He Saw Hitler in Hell & This Man in Heaven

Could not handle the question so went personal. Quite telling.

I am a loyal opposer, as the name I use here implies implies, stupid.

I leave embracing the Gods of inquisitions and jihads on you type.
