And you know this for a fact how exactly?
I don't have to prove it. Those who arguing it is a fact have to prove it.
They can't.

And you know this for a fact how exactly?
That is just it. We do not know. Could be true, could be BS. We simply do not know. We also do not know how close to 100 years old a cuttoff might have been if accessing SS computers and just declaring people dead. I got a kick out of a recent Steve Leihto story where Social Security declare somebody less than 65, dead. They lost their house, could not refinance, could not get a car loan. Lost their job. Could not be hired as SS number no good. Tried to convince SS, they were still alive, even by appearing in person, with their birth certificate and drivers license (now invalid as belonging to dead person. It took over a year. I hope elon is careful, but I doubt it. Quick is rarely careful. And you know this for a fact how exactly?
You have no issue with the millions of Americans who are audited. A good percentage are Progs.I'm sure social security is being audited by PROFESSIONALS.
Whether those people are currently receiving benefits or not is not the point.
The fact that you have people on the SS rolls that are not possibly still alive and that are not flagged as dead means that :
1.) The SS doesn't know which people on its rolls are dead and which are alive (across ALL age groups); This calls into question the veracity of ALL data currently being used by the SS Administration. Can you imagine a private annuity not knowing which of its customers are dead and which are still alive? Yeah, me neither.
2.) Any SSN of a dead person can be used to collect benefits by fraudsters; we just had congressional testimony detailing how bad the Federal Government identity verification systems are which means these are easy targets for criminals.
3.) The possibility that the SSN's of dead people are being used RIGHT NOW to fraudulently collect benefits is very high.
4.) Future SS liabilities are calculated based on these rolls and policy decisions are made based off of those calculations, this information calls into question whether we actually know what the current fiscal condition of the SS System or not.
This discovery is a VERY big deal.
So Elmo’s dweebs can find this “information” but can’t tell us how many of those people actually draw Bennie’s and how much?
Makes ya wonder
He’s not working on your timeline…I don't have to prove it. Those who arguing it is a fact have to prove it.
They can't.
Come on now…That is just it. We do not know. Could be true, could be BS. We simply do not know.
That doesn’t even make sense…So you think he’s in there just making it up? What if he’s not? Would you care? Sad.We also do not know how close to 100 years old a cuttoff might have been if accessing SS computers and just declaring people dead.
Not interested in your made up anecdotes, But, even if your sob story was true, that points to Musk’s claims as being true…There’s people want this, and voted for this. And you shilling for the barking monkeys is shameful. What do you gain from that?I got a kick out of a recent Steve Leihto story where Social Security declare somebody less than 65, dead. Now there's a pile of steaming dung for ya.It tells us that maybe there isn't massive fraud, but the Social Security system has no way to know whether there is or isn't.
How so? What do you have against safeguards and systems that ensure government is honest, effective, efficient and isn't wasting billions of the taxpayer's money? Now there's a pile of steaming dung for ya.
Just pointing out the possibilities, as not one for trusting the "Masters of the Universe", leaning toward the Reaganite thing of "trust but verify" and realizing without oversight there is no verification, at least in the short term.Come on now…I know your eyes know better than that

No you're not…You’re insinuating things that simply aren’t true.Just pointing out the possibilities,
You know damned well that all Musk is doing is looking at the books, and posting the obvious waste. It’s a straight up lie to say anything beyond that. Period.as not one for trusting the "Masters of the Universe", leaning toward the Reaganite thing of "trust but verify" and realizing without oversight there is no verification, at least in the short term.
Found that anecdotal story, actually a woman with 3 kids, unable to have insurance and bills piling up. This one in particular straightened out in two months, but he also related story of another woman, dealing with it for 10 years after being declared dead by Social Security. Apparently, the percentage this happens to if obviously quite small among our population of approx 340 Million, but still amounting to about 10,000 people per year being declared dead in official records, and no set process to prove actually alive and standing in front of a government official.
Whatever he submits will need to be considered by the Congress, DoJ, or the President.Stop it all of you. An audit is a good thing if they can get the line items to get in a row.
Do keep an eye on the auditors.
Elon musk posted a chart showing the number of living social security recipients for each age group in America. This is why a good housecleaning at Social Security will be a very good thing. Reminder Social Security started in 1935--89 years ago. So the oldest recipient had she lived would be around 154 years old or so now.
