Reminder Social Security started in 1935--89 years ago. So the oldest recipient had she lived would be around 154 years old or so now.

It's always "either/or" with you clowns. "If you're not in favour of the Wall, you want open borders". Being opposed to this illegal power grab has nothing to do with wanting fraud and waste.

Nor does it say that they are not. It is really easy for a widow or widower or sibling or offspring to just not tell Social Security that a person died. Some could be collecting Social Security for decades if nobody is really looking at that. An audit of the whole system is appropriate.

DOGE is addressing mostly waste, ineffectiveness, inefficiency, incompetence and those 'computer programmers' are skilled in plugging holes and increasing transparency to expose and deal with all that. And when fraud is uncovered, the DOJ will deal with that.

I get tired of posting the 'proof' but it's out there. Just do a quick google of Social Security fraud and you'll see numerous cases even with Google suppressing that information a good deal.

The point is, the current system has no way to identify all the many ways to defraud the system and that in itself is a problem. Musk and Trump are quite right and competent to point that out.

All Americans who are real Americans should want our government to work for us, and not for professional politicians and bureaucrats and dishonest people who know how to cheat the systems.

An honorable person in my opinion would applaud a Department of Government Efficiency ferreting out the waste, incompetence, ineffectiveness, inefficiency and yes fraud in our government instead of looking for or making up reasons to trash it.

Social Security paid for my friend`s daughter`s college education and so many other things it was never intended for. The girl I speak of is a deaf mute, but her parents can easily afford to pay for her education. I worked double shifts in a steel mill to pay for my kid`s college while these people are planning their third Alaska cruise. There`s no fraud here, but WTF?
