These lies Fox News and the other partisan hacks tell about Muslims remind me of one time when I was stationed in Puerto Rico.

I went to a local festival and had a great time. The next day, one of the bigots on base was telling a roomful of people about the same festival. He said they had shouted over the microphone, "Yankees go home!" and that the crowd had joined in. And then he pulls out his big knife and says he had to pull it at the festival to fight for his life to get out of there.

It was all completely made up, and I took some joy in telling him that I had been there and he was full of shit.

First Amendment jurisprudence applies solely to the relationship between the government and those governed, not between two private persons, or a group of private persons being critical of a private company such as Fox.

Consequently, liberals ridiculing Fox and its viewers – because both are in fact ridiculous – in no way 'violates' the First Amendment, nor does it demonstrate a 'fear' of the Amendment on the part of liberals, the notion is idiocy.

It's remarkable how most conservatives are ignorant of this fact and make the same mistake, not just the OP.
