While security and foreign policy have played a major role in the presidential campaign so far, the military vote is unlikely to be a major factor on the national stage. Active-duty troops and reservists compose about 1 percent of the national voting population.



I wonder what the results would be if retired and recent discharged veterans were polled?

even though leftist make up ~ 40% of the population, they don't make up more than 25% of the military.

They simply can't see themselves serving the country.

I'll repeat what I posted on another thread.

I'm certain Military.com used standard polling practices. However, these results are not even close to online polls on military sites that show a HUGE percentage of military personnel who say they will vote will vote for Trump.

I salute them. But it's not rocket science. Clinton still lives under that impression that bringing Democracy to the MidEast is some kind of modern Crusade. They're not learning from all the blood, death and destruction..

OTH -- LParty was right on MEast policy 25 years ago - and we never flipped or flopped.
