Anybody notice that the speaker doesn't even come to the podium until 18 and a half minutes of really lame music has been thrust upon the hapless viewer?

WHY are people doing this? It's at least the third political speech video I've seen where the first half or more of a video consists of absolutely nothing. Don't people know how to EDIT any more??
