Rep. Pete Sessions to Introduce Make Elections Secure Act – Would Eliminate Voting Machines

"Rep. Pete Sessions to Introduce Make Elections Secure Act – Would Eliminate Voting Machines and Ensure Hand-Marked Paper Ballots – Severely Restrict Mail-in Voting
The Gateway Pundit has obtained a draft copy of the Make Elections Secure Act (MESA), authored by Representative Pete Sessions (TX-17), which would repeal the outdated Help America Vote Act (HAVA) of 2002.

Among other things, it would also almost entirely eliminate electronic voting machines and ensure each voter casts their ballot on a hand-marked paper ballot with a manual hand-count. Exceptions for machine use would be permitted for voters requiring accessibility accommodations due to disabilities.

The bill, which would also apply to primary elections, also “restrict
mailed ballots to specific eligible voters with stringent verification process.” As of now, those are outlined as active-duty military stationed outside their voting jurisdiction and those with a physician-certified medical condition that would prevent in-person voting.

MESA would also provide accountability to the public by ensuring “maximum transparency by providing public access to all election processes and comprehensive Election Data, including unscrambled ballot images and cast vote records, with at least five days for officials to upload data.”"

Who could be against secure elections? I suspect the Democrats will lose their shit over this.
I'm not actually against voting machines as long as they aren't rigged.

This would render the Republic safe for another hundred years.

Game....set....match.

They are eminently "riggable", and need to be tossed.

And the Democrats used to be the ones who advocated for this during the Bush Jr. era.

Of course, like a great many things, the parties have completely switched sides now on this issue.

Do we have to ride to the polls on horseback, too? Leavin’ the womenfolk at home, of course.

Its not. Hand counts are very expensive.

Um.

No.

The green new deal was expensive.

Leaving our military equipment and bases to be ravaged by taliban hordes was expensive.

Footing the bill for illegal "MIGRANTS!" to have houses and cars is expensive.

Counting hand ballots?

Not so much.

'Cept maybe in Leftist cloud coo coo land.

Which - in case you didn't notice - is where we no longer reside.

Democrats only win because of fraud.

The vast majority of Americans hate democrats and view them as traitors working on a plot to intentionally collapse America

An American voting for democrats is like a chicken voting for Gavin Newsome

Yep.

Trump had a 3.5 point lead in the popular vote until CA suddenly mysteriously took weeks to count their ballots.

Suddenly, the national lead was cut in half.

Still, not advocating for voting machines.

If this gets through, dimocrap FILTH will never win another National Election. Ever again. At least not as they are currently constructed.

They will fight this bill harder, they will screech and scream and slander and libel like never before while trying to stop this bill. That is an absolute FACT. Count on it. Take it to the Bank

This may be the most important Legislation in American History. I bullshit you not.

If this fails, we are done as a Country

Dead in the Senate unless it can be attached to the budget reconciliation bill.

I guess he can make the argument that paper is a lot less expensive than machines.

You have to pay people to count all that paper.

Very few actual Americans actually vote for democrats.

The average Democrat voter doesn't know it voted

Democrat voters get their ballots harvested and filled out by WEF operatives. These ballots are then pushed into the count and the WEF/Democrat will always find just enough votes to win.

Democrats = traitors

You MAGA bozos do realize that nearly all voting is made via paper ballots and then those ballots are scanned into a voting machine. In the event of a close election those ballots can be hand counted. Not to mention that the idea of widespread voter fraud is a lie.

The truth is even if you MAGA had your way and all the ballots are hand counted and you lost, you idiots would still scream voter fraud.

You do realize, that everything you just posted is YOUR opinion, not fact. Your opinion is very important, even if like all LEFTISTS you try and pretend it is all fact, lol.

We ended Dominion in Shasta County

The problem is the average American has absolutely no way to know whether they are rigged or not. Here in New Mexico we vote on paper ballots. But once we have filled out our ballot it is fed into a machine that counts and tabulates the vote. We have absolutely no way to know that our vote was actually counted and/or counted in the way we actually voted. Poll watchers are useless to give us any assurance in that case.

And because the voting laws are so narrow and restrictive so that a recount is almost impossible to obtain and unless the margin is less than 1% you have to pay for the recount in order to challenge it. And with absolutely no voter ID of any kind is allowed, anybody who can obtain an address and birthdate can vote in anybody's name.

And it is uncanny how many times in a really close election, they manage to find a box of ballots that were 'overlooked' before and those ballots are just enough to give the Democrat a win. New Mexico has never had a GOP controlled legislature in the 113 year history of this state.
