Who here refused to vote D or R?

Did you vote for a Democrat or a Republican?

if that right person is a democrat or a republican then you are voting as one of them and support that parties platform....a real independent has a problem with both parties and does not support either one hence why they are independents.....
Trump was the first “independent” with an actual chance at winning….did you support Trump?

Dude, you may not know this, but Trump was a Repub....before that he was a Dem....before that he was a Repub

A "real independent" is foolish.

One of two candidates is going to be elected. To leave that decision to others is irresponsible

The political definition of "independent" is a voter that is not bound by a party ideology but a voter who picks the right person. Not voting for a mainstream political candidate doesn't make you independent, it makes you stupid.
By one well-known definition, voting for a mainstream political candidate makes you insane unless you are among the richest 10% of Americans.

"The current evidence suggests that the saying is of anonymous origin and was originally popularized through its use in narcotics and alcohol addiction pamphlets and literature in the early 1980s.

"During that decade it was used and further popularized by several famous writers and celebrities, such as author Rita Mae Brown (in her 1983 book Sudden Death) and EST guru Werner Erhard (who used a version of it in a 1986 interview).

"By the 1990s, it was being credited it to Einstein."

“The definition of insanity...”

There are major differences between the parties and anyone telling you that's not true is lying

Take abortion for instance

Healthcare

Support for Social Security and Medicare

Veterans healthcare (Burn Pit Legislation)

The parties are NOT the same...not by a long shot

More relevant viewing for the "I'll vote for the lesser evil because that's what I was manipulated to do" crowd.

no it doesnt.....you run with a party you are one of them....
The true independents I know will sometimes vote Republican and sometimes vote Democrat….many independents voted for Trump.
Trump knew he had to run as a republican to have a chance at winning. A rudimentary concept that you and dblack struggle with.

You gloss over the issues I mention without even a nod.

The two parties are very different and voting matters

True….listen to Lesh Harry Dresden
Only one party hates our right to sovereignty, only one party wants your tax dollars to provide healthcare for Mexico’s people, only one party hates law and order, only one party thinks men can be women by proclamation, only one party begs for free shit.
