Oil companies earn about 5 to 10¢ in profit on each gallon of gasoline that we buy. Here in California, government takes (not earns) $1.83 in taxes on each gallon.
the criminal Gavin Newsom is pointing the finger at the oil companies trying to tell us that they are to blame for the high gasoline prices we are paying, and proposing, as a solution, that we impose more taxes on the oil companies.;
