Non-Citizens - even if they are legal - should not be permitted to vote in the US at any level. If you want to vote, then at either become a full citizen or at least a dual citizen and get some skin in the game.

The fact that there are those that think illegals should vote is very disturbing.

The strange thing about that is, you want them to become citizens in order to vote in state, county and local elections, instead of letting the states, counties and locals make that determination.

Meanwhile it's odd, that in the US they let non-citizens buy firearms. So we trust them with a lethal weapons but not with a ballot.

States and even the Federal Government can let non-citizens vote. I just laid out why they shouldn’t. As for guns, they shouldn’t be allowed to buy guns as well.
