Zone1 What makes Christianity different from other religions?

This exchange has been priceless.

What did Paul gain from that?
Sadistic pleasure. Just like any demon in hell.

What do you have to gain by setting aside Divine Law, worshipping a matzo, and teaching others to do the same? Death, a curse that you seem to enjoy, so enjoy! Don't let any rational thought disturb your delusions.

Seriously? You believe Paul committed blasphemy for satanic pleasure?

Doesn’t it make more sense that he really believed Jesus is God?

Did you ever find the passage where Paul discusses this?

I thought you were supposed to be a big bible scholar.

The names, places, and reasons vary........but the base story lines are all the same.
Hate, kill, beg forgiveness, and do it all again.

It makes more sense that Paul made that claim to insure that any intelligent person would dismiss the teachings of Jesus out of hand which would have turned the whole world upside down, the entire Babylonian secret MYSTERY RELIGION that puts people into a deliberately induced state of mind that resembles a deep sleep, making the faithful easy prey for every foul and loathsome beast and bird on earth so a few elite could lead smooth easy lives.

That’s rather cynical. You do realize there are practical benefits from self reflection, thankfulness and forgiveness, right?

Why would he do that?

My mother was a "Sunday Christian".
She dragged me and my sister to different churches every few months for YEARS.
And all I saw was the SAME thing in each of them..........lies, backstabbing, racism, and hypocrisy.

So? People misuse firearms. Does that mean they can’t be used properly?

Why would he do that?
You should probably wonder why you openly participate and brazenly condone the very practice that is a violation of Divine law, a practice that scripture clearly condemns under penalty of death, for spiritual life? Derp

Isn't that just flat out stupid?

And here you are like the hopelessly insane who find humor and cackle at their own pathetic aberrations. Why would anyone do that? Two reasons. Either they have been deceived or they are a deceiver. Simple as that.

What's your excuse?

Manipulation and deception provide a rush of control and power that can be highly gratifying. For individuals with psychopathic traits, the thrill of getting away with something—especially fooling others—is a key component of their behavior.

What evidence do you have that suggests that was what he was after? What happened to Paul?

Or maybe Paul summed up his dilemma quite nicely.

But I’m guessing neither of you know what I am talking about.

Paul had nothing to gain and everything to lose. That’s makes Paul a credible witness.
ROGLMAO @ dingy's "Paul had nothing to gain....." tribute---THUS HE IS
CREDIBLE-----sorry dingbat------I have never examined a person harboring
Hallucinations who, thereby, HAD SOMETHING TO GAIN. ---uhm....
personal revelation----I have been involved in the care and treatment of lots
of hallucinators in the course of my long life------used to be first test---VDRL.
---uhm----test for the illness marked by visual and auditory hallucinations.
They didn't have a VDRL back then

Don’t you think you should have read the verse to comment on it.

I cannot comment on a patient with visual and auditory hallucinations without
doing an H & P (history and physical) and review pertinent lab studies
and imaging
