We'll know by end of the week.

No. The fact that repubs are trying to ignore the issue is notable.
How is funding the gov't in order to facilitate negotiations on ACA subsidies and health care for illegal immigrants ignoring the issue. Democrats are just kicking it down the road instead of negotiating. But not to worry, they are going to be without their public assistance programs AND the ACA, so I guess that's a win win for Americans.

Obviously your party wants the issue to go away so you can get what you want now, with no pressure to do anything later. Keep wanting. The issue is at hand now.
Careful what you wish for---I think the Schumer Shutdown is going to give it to you.

Trump supports a continued resolution keeping snap benefits at the same rate. So does the gop, they all voted for it

Are you clueless as to what we are discussing?
Democrats -- the gift that keeps on giving. SNAP benefits ending before Thanksgiving--I guess that is something to be thankful for as well as the end of the ACA.

Looks like 20 million folks will either have their rates go up significantly, or will just go w/o medical care.

"As the federal government nears a shutdown, a central issue in the government funding fight is health care costs. Premium tax credits (PTCs) help lower the cost of comprehensive insurance coverage for more than 20 million people who buy health insurance on their own through the Affordable Care Act marketplaces. However, the enhanced level of financial support that has been in place since 2021 will expire at the end of this year, and Congress passed up multiple opportunities to extend it as part of the Big Beautiful Bill signed into law in July. Unless Congress approves legislation on the enhanced subsidies, millions of Americans will face higher costs as a result. The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office projects that about 4 million more Americans will be uninsured by 2034 if enhanced PTCs are not renewed. . . "

Why were the funding levels enhanced in 2021?

Not true again.

The issue is slated to be worked out in the appropriations process as soon as the Democrats open the government up.
Is there any reason to believe republicans will negotiate anything after incentive to negotiate is removed?

Obamacare isn't even a part of the discussion at this point. Democrats have voted to shut down the government. That is what is preventing all legislative policy decisions.
And yet the two longest shutdowns in history have happened under Trump. A guy who would rather get bribes from companies to build a ballroom "next to" the East Wing, and definitely not impacting the East Wing.

Trump has never given a damn about real people.

Doing away with the subsidies takes us back to the original ACA which you all said was so awesome!
The original ACA was awesome but republicans blocked it making the subsidies necessary. Perhaps you have a plan for healthcare. Didn't trump say he could easily do it better and cheaper? What happened?

Why won't democrats explain the subsidies? the way the system is rigged democrats never have to explain.

So they are using blackmail? Obamacare was a bad idea when demscum forced it down our throats. Best thing to do is get rid of it.
You got something to replace it with?

Great. you explain massive rate increases to citizens. That's what will happen.

Only one way to find out, wouldn't you agree?
If there was some reason to believe they would act in good faith, it might be worthwhile to give them that opportunity. Unfortunately, that is not the case.

Why would they negotiate with Schumer. Schumer blew his leverage and in so doing, he opened the door to no benefits for illegals and, the biggest win, he may have canceled the ACA. Temper tantrums don't work---any three year old figures that out.
