We Trade Our Lives For Money

The R-Pods are great campers. We have seen several at campgrounds.

Which, by the way, is a great way to get the best info on a variety of campers. Go camp in a campground. You'll see all sorts of campers and the people usually love to talk about them.
If this wasn’t going on 2 miles from my home today I’d agree with you

Im going to go check out this R pod. I think it’s perfect.

They are sweet campers. Inside is enough room to sleep, change clothes ect. And the rear kitchen is excellent!

Black sands kitchen isn’t in the back and neither is this one

Nah ... The one I have is the floor plan that puts the bathroom all the way across the back, from the door to the rear.
The couch is where the bathroom is in that floor plan.

It also allows for a larger pantry longways above the couch ...
and a small closet with drawers in the main room and the in the bathroom.
The closet is behind the open bathroom door in this picture.

Better use of space.

There’s a couch behind the person taking the picture?

The most important jobs in any society will never be able to be done from home on a laptop.

Police officers? Fire fighters? Doctors? Nurses?

Remote teaching of children has been a complete failure.

Houses can’t be built remotely, or roads fixed.

The hoopla about some sort of shift to working from home is overblown and tiresome. It’s a fad.

One of the many benefits of the scamdemic has been showing just how many jobs CAN be done from home.

It improves quality of life for those who can do it, quality of work generally improves as well.

So, instead of naysaing, celebrate the reduced traffic.

Yep, no red tape in them red states! :laughing0301: :laughing0301: :laughing0301: :laughing0301:

Is it possible for you to make even a single post that is not just partisan BS?

Are you capable of having a discussion that does not involved partisan politics?

You first. It is a fact that blue states tax, and regulate the shit out of businesses.

DURRRRR

You noted the problem but not the answer. I retired at 58. My wife was 55. Being retired is easily the best job I ever had.

You don't really need as much as the experts all claim. Granted I live in a low COL area and the wife and I planned ahead and got everything paid off so we owe nothing other than a monthly small C.C bill. (I put my gas and misc on it)
RE Taxes? utilities?

The bed is about one foot behind where the picture was taken from.
It's a queen-sized bed and fills the whole front of the camper wall to wall.

The table and chairs to the left are also a couch if you want to make them into one.
The table collapses and slides between the chairs and there are cushions to turn it into a couch or small bed for a child.

The one I rented had a floorplan like the one you posted.
The reason I changed floor plans was because in the one you posted the bathroom cuts the whole camper space in half ...
and interrupts the flow of open space.

Plus, the additional storage options were an improvement in the floorplan I chose.
There is less storage space under the camper with exterior access and more inside.

What a coincidence the rv show is today after we just had this conversation. And my brothers going. I’m going to need to store it on his property up north. If he thinks it’s an eye sore he will say no. He would not say no to this but it’s nice I’ll get the ok if I decide to one day get one.

Plus he can use it. I’ll buy it.

Don't lose the manual ... There are things you need to know about storing the unit and preparing it for winter.
It sits above the ground and if you are not using it, the water in it will freeze ... Including water in the water heater.

If you have any sense, it's still relatively easy to maintain everything.

So you do have bills outside your CC.
I have association dues. Always will. Car payment car insurance. Internet and cable. Gas, electric and I’m sure I’m forgetting a couple of things. Sucks that it costs at least $1000 a month even if you’ve paid off your mortgage. Taxes. At least $12k a year. Will never go away.

I don’t but my brother does

I hope to one day have a paid off f150. Even if I do it’s $100 a month insurance and oil changes, new tires, gas, whatever. Add another $100 a month. So even a paid off car costs you $200 a month. $2500 a year to drive a car minimum.
