Mom and daughter given two months to leave beloved home as data centers devour rural land

Already explained but since you’re dumb

They need huge amounts of land because the buildings must hold tens of thousands of servers, cooling systems, backup generators, batteries, networking equipment, and power infrastructure — plus enough spacing to handle heat, safety, and expansion. Modern AI facilities can consume as much electricity as a small city, so they’re often built on large campuses near major power and fiber-optic connections.
Its better than a wind farm or solar farms which destroy millions of acres of land and cant do the job in the first place. Lets be honest this is about then end of renewable energy

The founders understood it would be needed. It's why they created the 2nd Amendment.

The founders never intended that the government would be able to take the people's land to give it to a private business.
so are you on the front lines in this or are you coat holder?.....

It's tough against ED even with a great lawyer, but one can get you rights to the internet. Also, these data center buildings are huge and fugly on the outside, so not in favor. Yet, the internet should be a right.
Its infrastructure for manufacturing and businesses in general that will depend on AI and data banks. The real issue here is renewable energy cant meet the demand so its obsolete and must be replaced by nuclear and fossil fuels.

She gets paid fair market value and will walk away with a nice profit. Cant feel sorry for her
Fair market value?

Being forced to move, they should give her twice the value as compensation

But no.

Why its worth what its worth she makes a nice profit and buys a better house. We get the needed infrastructure that will create thousands of jobs.

IN many states, including Texas, you don't have a right to not sell your property to major companies. The local entity will declare eminent domain, by your property at below market and sell it to a utility or major developer. That includes data centers.
