We Need Socialism.

No.

It's called freedom. Get used to it.

Sorry. That's nuts. I don't care how nice the meal service is, I'll pass on being a prisoner.

1. Are you stupid? There is no such thing as freedom. You're a slave. George Carlin went into it when he started speaking about choice. Watch it and learn something.

2. No. What people may do if they are tired of being hungry is nuts. Also, you have to admit that it is probably better to be in an American prison than it is being a prisoner in the countries they came from.

ie .... as long as we see the government as our caretaker (and our master).

Better to have those things that are subject to voters than those in the private sector who are not.

I missed where FDR talked about responsibilities. The need for socialism isn't because of the failure of capitalism but the failure of individuals to live responsibly.

Are you stupid? Don't give me that "blame the poor" bullshit. The bottom 50% of Americans have around 4 trillion in wealth. The top 50% of Americans have around 156 trillion in wealth. Do you think that is because the wealthy are acting responsibly?

So 19 American families have the same net worth ($2. 6 trillion) as 110 million Americans–no problem, there’s an app that resolves that.

Did the 19 families steal it from the 110 million Americans? How?

Maybe gippertwat can stop sobbing for a minute and explain?

Explain something to the likes of you? That's a joke!

facts.webp

Just how stupid are you. Slavery never ended. And here in the U.S., it just got a different label. For example, 34% of working Americans say they live from paycheck to paycheck. As for this next figure, the numbers are all over the place. But as far as I could find, 70% of wage earners in the U.S either participate in medicare or SNAP. (For most, probably both) Also, here in the U.S. the bottom 50% of Americans have around 4 trillion in wealth. The top 50% of Americans have around 156 trillion in wealth. 4 trillion vs 156 trillion. Tell me there isn't a shitload of slavery to blame for that. As for the working poor, this website should help.

Were you a failure in life because you're a brain-dead idiot?

The 12 million wage-earning adults (ages 19 to 64) enrolled in Medicaid—a joint federal-state program that finances health care for low-income individuals—and the 9 million wage-earning adults in households receiving food assistance from the federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) shared a range of common labor characteristics.

12+9 = 21 million
The current number of US workers is about 163 million.

You’re such an idiot.

Stop swallowing all that semen from Bibi and Trump. It’s making you even more ignorant.
Rich people get rich because at some point they provide or provided an essential public service that poor and middle-class people were willing to pay for. Without Microsoft and Apple, we would still be dependent on mainframes and there would be no internet for you to abuse.

Most poor are poor by choice. I don't fault them for that, it's their life. Socialism removes the need for good choices. That said America will never be a socialist country because government run businesses can't generate the money needed for all the socialist programs. Hell, capitalism is having a hard time keeping up with the social programs that we have now.

With a net worth of $10Million at the time of his death George Carlin was certainly a member of "The Club".

Again with the false dichotomy. It's not a choice between enslaving yourself to government and enslaving yourself to the "private sector" (whatever that's supposed to mean). How about we skip the slave thing? Is that beyond imagining to you?

Why are you wasting time with this zealot? He has his fantasy to guide him and cares little for the truth.

Seldom the case.

When your government is for sale to the highest bidder, who do you think wins the bidding? Who loses?

These aren’t difficult questions to those awake and not duped by state controlled media.

Meanwhile out in the real world most can succeed nicely with the right moves, while avoiding the wrong ones.

The wealthy definitely are acting responsibly.

So, we crack down on the corruption and limit Congress's ability to grant special favors. Your premise that all rich people are corrupt doesn't hold water.

You failed to understand my point and jump to conclusions. I’ve never stated nor believed all rich people are corrupt.

Ok. It seemed you were pushing the narrative that there's no just reason why someone should be a millionaire.
