We Need Socialism.

The government not taking folks money IS NOT the same as giving them money.

It never belonged to the government to begin with.
The government produces zero wealth, it is like a tick or parasite, it only takes.

No where in your link, does it say the government is "giving," anyone money. It only notes that the government is letting certain groups keep more OF THEIR OWN MONEY.

You really are this dumb, aren't you?

You may have heard of this old saying. "A penny saved is a penny earned." Tax money not taken is tax money earned.

Who in government makes all the decisions on how things are run?

Mainly, the Congress and the House of Representatives. Though they vote the way that the wealthy who paid to put them in office tell them to vote.

Increasing wages for the masses does not lead to inflation. Thats a pile of rubbish rhetoric thats meant to keep wages suppressed.

I disagree. Socialism tends to be more democratic. Communism tends to be more authoritarian. As it was in communist Russia and still is in communist China. Watch the Michael Moore documentary "Where to invade next." He visits various countries in Europe that are WAY more socialist than the U.S. He also speaks to many if the citizens. They are dismayed as to how the U.S. stacks up against them.

Which socialist country would you move to -

Not communism, but socialism. There is a difference. For instance, Hitler and the National Socialists were against the communists. (And for VERY good reasons) Under Hitler and the National Socialists, the German economy went from ruined to the greatest economy in the world! Also, the only to defeat the Chinese communists is with a socialist system. But the capitalists cringe at the thought. Why? Because there is no way a for profit company could compete with a government run company. For one reason, profit would be taken out of the equation. Also, we could make anything the Chinese make for less than they can. Because our country is rich in natural resources. As long as the government can provide the necessities that are needed to live, such as housing, food and clothing, things can be made for a very cheap price. But here is a cartoon from 1897 that shows the problem when it comes to, for example, housing. (How things haven't changed)

Though he was an asshole, Muammar Gaddafi took a socialist approach when it came to housing. He required by law that every citizen had a place to live. He also made it illegal to own more than one house. Another point is that here in the U.S., the working poor on average spend around 55% of their income on rent. To that add the cost of food, clothing, utilities, insurance, etc., that doesn't leave people with much else. Also each year around 500,000 families go bankrupt due to medical expenses. It's all a pile of shit that only socialism can lift us out of. You should also consider what these two people had to say.

YOU need socialism. Most likely due to lack of motivation, work ethic, and the need for others to think and do for you.

That's a false dichotomy.
2. The private sector can't imprison you. But what they can do is make you homeless and hungry. That is probably worse than prison.
Seriously? You'd rather be in prison than homeless and hungry??

Misterbeale, one more of those and on ignore you go.

Agreed. And it again shows the need for socialism. From what I have been reading recently, inflation is most often accompanied by increased corporate profits. Also, remember when Biden gave everybody a little extra cash due to the coronavirus pandemic? That caused inflation to go up. I think is because businesses realizing that consumers had a little more money decided to raise prices to take it away Though I can't say so for sure, I doubt if the prices ever dropped afterwards. Here is one of many websites dealing with inflation and corporate profits.

It's Not 'Inflation' — We're Just Getting Ripped Off. Here's Proof. - Inequality.org

You might want to make that distinction in the future. It's pretty freaking important.

Only an idiot, or a Trump supporter, would think I could have been speaking of any other kind than democratic socialism.

It's a historical fact you moron, but kinda can't blame you for your ignorance the education system in this country has gone to shit.

You can take your "historical fact" and shove it up your ass. What's next. You going to tell me that FDR didn't know at least a couple weeks beforehand when and where the Japanese were going to attack? Or that the holocaust happened? One more insult by a pile of brainwashed dog shit like you calling me ignorant and it will be off to ignore land you go.

1. It's called democracy. Get used to it.

2. There are probably people who come here illegally who find our prisons better than free life in their own countries are. At least in prison, you get fed three times a day. Also, I remember hearing of what they called bear prisons up in Canada. Where problem polar bears are held for a while before being relocated. Though they don't get fed, for some reason, they sometimes come back. Here is another point on being homeless and hungry. This was back in the mid 80's when there were no jobs in my neck of the woods. I knew a guy who was on welfare like I was. He was hired by the city to paint murals around town depicting historical events. Then the day came when our republican governor at the time threw me and over 80,000 other people out on the street. Including the guy I spoke of. He ended up freezing to death.

And such a response only reveals what a sloppy and inaccurate poster you are.

But we know that from the threads you start.

Thanks for sharing.

Spoken like a true left winger.

High and mighty, condescending and ignorant.

Yep, you check the boxes.

That's why nobody takes you seriously.

No.

It's called freedom. Get used to it.

Sorry. That's nuts. I don't care how nice the meal service is, I'll pass on being a prisoner.
