‘“Regime Change” — the new book from New York Times reporters Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan — is the latest in a very long line of books promising a behind-the-scenes look at a presidency. Their book has only a few of the dishy details one often finds in these volumes. But as readers learn about the dynamic between President Donald Trump and the loyalists who surround him, a genuinely sinister picture emerges. The president has finally created an administration that works exactly how he wants it to, and the result is a vicious cycle of incompetence and moral corruption.

In short, everything about how the White House operates exacerbates Trump’s most pernicious instincts and character flaws. His aides enable him to be the worst version of himself, and in turn he makes them the worst version of themselves.

The result is an administration full of people who either agree with Trump’s most self-destructive impulses or know that objections are all but pointless.’

A vicious cycle of incompetence, moral corruption, and criminality – a Trump regime with absolute contempt for the rule of law and the judiciary

Surrounded by blind partisan hacks and sycophantic loyalists, there is no one to check Trump’s despotic authoritarianism.

And with Congressional Republicans unwilling to remove Trump and a Supreme Court dominated by conservative ideologues in support of the Imperial Presidency and unitary executive dogma, the country will remain subject to the capricious, sinister whims of a dangerous megalomaniac unfit to hold any public office.

the excerpts that have been released b4 the book came out had key admin in the situation room to discuss donny & epstein.... apparently those who were in the know, said that the accuracy = someone leaked audio to them & so far, nobody is disputing the conversations.

oh dear, oh my.

Incompetent at sealing the border?

Incompetent at enforcing U.S. immigration laws, in spite of violent opposition by Democrats?

Incompetent at identifying tens of billions in Federal waste and fraud?

Incompetent at spurring U.S. energy production to its highest level EVER?

Incompetent at reducing the burden of Federal regulations?

Incompetent at resolving international disputes?

Incompetent at getting our NATO allies to take their Defense obligations seriously?

Incompetent at getting the Chinese the fcuk out of the Panama Canal?

I could go on.

Yeah, they are incompetent at being Leftists.

Did you buy it and read it yet?

An editorial from MSDNC supporting Maggie Haberman's latest obsessive book on Donald Trump?

Kind of like Bagdad Bob reporting on Saddam's latest speech 25 years ago.
