Nonsense.Yes, if their student can't earn enough from their degree in 10 years to pay for the tuition, the university should refund the earnings shortfall to the lender.Universities should be the ones to cancel that debt.Of course they do. Destroying the value of contracts will permit an escape from one's own stupidity.

Funny how everyone seems to be hurting during economic hard times, EXCEPT left wing universities around the country that keep raising tuition anyway.
We live in a capitalist system. If people are dumb enough to take courses that teach non marketable skills that's on them.
I took computer courses at devry and never once worked in the field. There are currently payments being made to former students via the FCC rulings on false advertising AND class action payments that can reimburse you for all or part of your debt.
I have not, nor will I apply for either despite qualifying. Other people are not responsible for my decisions
