The Virginia decision is the correct decision in its effect. I really don't give a crap about the D vs. R aspects as they both suck donkey balls. The proposed map really didn't work the further you moved inland from the coastal areas if you actually want diverse voices. Didn't really care how they carve up the northeast of the state, but they were lumping a lot of areas elsewhere in Virginia together where there didn't seem to be a lot of common culture/interests between the communities.

They didn't decide the case based on the map. It was procedural, based on the way they put the measure on the ballot. 4 judges nullified a statewide democratic vote. It is the only way the Neo-GOP has to try and stay in power. I don't think it's going to work out like they think.
