I might agree but we still have at least two more years to see how things go. I am waiting to see one distinguish himself above the other. To his credit, Marco is in a prime location to stand out, whereas as VP, it is almost kind of Vance's job to be the do-nothing guy in the shadows just hanging around in case something happened to Trump.

At some point, Trump will have to start giving Vance some jobs to do to set himself apart as a capable leader if he wants Vance to get the nomination.

Marco will play the long game and take VP under Vance and will not challenge him. I'll bet a gentleman's agreement has already been made between them. That way if Vance runs, which he will, other Republicans will stand aside, and the nomination is his without much of a fight.

Things have been going the wrong way for around 50 years, gonna take time to fix it.
