I hope you're right but he'll be president until after the 2028 election so it might be too late for Vance and Rubio.I think Trump's influence with his 'supporters' will fade the day he leaves office.

The GOP "Dream Team" for 2028?
Both will likely run. Which combo would you support. I lean toward a Rubio/Vance ticket. Sorry J.D., maybe next time.
100% but Democrats will SAVAGE Marco with his record. That's the trouble with records, Democrats can twist and half truth and smear you with them.Personally, I believe that you are selling Marco short, he has really grown into a formidable figure.

Any ticket with Vance on it is a loser. The GOP "Dream Team" for 2028?

Vance is being reduced to a warm bowl of spit. Rubio has high visibility in comparison.I might agree but we still have at least two more years to see how things go. I am waiting to see one distinguish himself above the other. To his credit, Marco is in a prime location to stand out, whereas as VP, it is almost kind of Vance's job to be the do-nothing guy in the shadows just hanging around in case something happened to Trump.
At some point, Trump will have to start giving Vance some jobs to do to set himself apart as a capable leader if he wants Vance to get the nomination.

Didn't Trump say that he would let the two of them fight it out, that he wasn't going to pick a favorite?Rubio is going for the throat. I'm loving it, the man is a mensch, he is taking all comers, he seems stronger the more Trump loads on him, it is like someone Hulked him up with a dose of gamma rays and he is forcing Vance now that if he still wants any hope for the '28 nomination, he's going to have to man up big and pull out some really big successes of his own.
Marco will play the long game and take VP under Vance and will not challenge him. I'll bet a gentleman's agreement has already been made between them. That way if Vance runs, which he will, other Republicans will stand aside, and the nomination is his without much of a fight.Didn't Trump say that he would let the two of them fight it out, that he wasn't going to pick a favorite?
Cruz would make as good of a SC justice as Rubio makes a SOS. Yep. His talents lie that way, they do.I'm hoping for a SCOTUS opening to get shed of Cruz that way.![]()

Patience 41 year old grass hopper. You'll be 53 years old.True, but, in my opinion, being a VP for possibly 12 years would seem like a bitter pill to swallow.
I've always wanted to meet a Republican who likes Ted Cruz. Seriously? You like Ted? He's such a scumbag. Or Lindsay Graham. I couldn't stand being in the same room as that ass muncher.Cruz would make as good of a SC justice as Rubio makes a SOS. Yep. His talents lie that way, they do.
Yeah well, you're not the sharpest marble in the bag, Silly Boo Boo, so I don't take what you say for much.I've always wanted to meet a Republican who likes Ted Cruz. Seriously? You like Ted? He's such a scumbag. Or Lindsay Graham. I couldn't stand being in the same room as that ass muncher.

Things have been going the wrong way for around 50 years, gonna take time to fix it.You voted for this:
Recent data indicates a significant portion of Americans are facing financial strain, with reports suggesting that nearly 8 in 10 (roughly 78%) live paycheck to paycheck, frequently struggling to meet monthly expenses and cover unexpected costs. This high level of stress is driven by rising inflation, high consumer debt, and costs outpacing income.
So how smart can you be?
You say things are going great. How smart can you be?
BTW, I'm one of the 2 who's not living paycheck to paycheck. In fact I have $35K burning a hole in my pocket. I'm either going to buy a bronco 2 when my lease is up or I'm going to lease something again and put $20K into the stock market. Suck that.
Hafar1014 and I are not living paycheck to paycheck. We can't all be in that 20% can we Papageorgio Harry Dresden are you in the 78% or 22%?

Better than being one and done forever like Pence.Being vice president to two different consecutive presidents seems a little emasculating
Well, when trumps supporters threatened to lynch him if he didn’t violate the Electoral College certification, I’m sure he wasn’t too keen on returning to the ticket in 2024 anywaysBetter than being one and done forever like Pence.![]()
