I don't like Vance. He comes off as stiff, unlikable, and hollow. He has no real values of his own. A few years ago he was a massive Trump hater. He's changed his legal name several times. He says he is some great Catholic, but only converted a few years ago. Vance comes off as a shapeshifter. I understand that people change their beliefs on things over the years, but when you are a high level person in politics - it comes off as hollow, to a degree.

Vance is one of the most unpopular VP's. Harris was far worse, but that's not exactly a high bar to set, is it? I don't like Rubio, however I think Rubio has more of a "Statesman" type approach to things.

That’s exactly how I see him as well.

“Hollow” sums it up perfectly. He says whatever Trump commands him to believe. When Trump is out of the picture, he’s going to need to let people know what he actually stands for, because at this point, we really don’t know.

It's not a slam dunk that JD will be the nominee. Marco Rubio and others are looking as good, if not better.

While the war is at the top of the list right now, by 2028 its importance will have dropped.

The thing most clear now is that whoever the nominee is, the main Republican strength will REMAIN the insanity and anti-American-ness of the Democrats. How they fucked up the climate debate, how they have brought an invasion of third-world, government-dependent wretches and are fighting for THEIR rights vis a vis those of AMERICANS, environmental and regulatory insanity, gender confusion, and so on.

One can only hope (and expect?) that the D's will nominate some crazy bastard like AOC, to seal the deal.
