Unintended Consequences of Banning Abortion

Yet there are doctors by the dozens that say a mask doesn't do squat. The covid particles are smaller than the mesh holes in a typical mask. And as for the illegals, they certainly don't wear masks.
they dont do squat with reguards to protecting the wearer, for consumer grade masks. They were never intended as such, they are only good for source control of exhaled virus.

but anywyays, if masks dont do any good, then why would it make any difference if illegals wear them or not.

Really? How many states had "trigger" laws to go into effect as soon as Roe v. Wade was overturned?

The number of states that will limit abortion is not relevant.
The discussion is whether or not it is "conservative" to try to impose a religious view about a fetus being a human being or not, on others who do not agree.

You were the one bringing up spreading the disease, and I pointed out that your dementia patient is letting illegals in by the millions, unvaxed, untested, and shipping them all across the country. In the meantime, he demanded that all Americans working in medical must be vaxed, or tested every week, or the employer must fire them, and he is restricting them access to unemployment not giving a shit about their children or family. He tried to do this to everybody regardless where they worked, but because it's so unconstitutional, the Supreme Court struck it down.

During his campaign when we hit 250,000 covid deaths, he said Trump should step down as President. In the end, he had more deaths than Trump, and Dementia had three Trump vaccines to work with that Trump didn't have. Okay Joe, when are you going to step down?

The "Daily Caller" is not a valid source.
What they wrote is obviously wrong.
{...
The cash value of welfare spending, according to the analysis, is $167.65 daily per household in poverty. The median household income in 2011 was $50,054 or $137.13 per day, according to the analysis, released Friday.
...}
That is ridiculous.
Food stamps are not free, but you have to buy them, and while the price varies with income, no one can get food stamps without paying at least half their value.
People on ADC get less than $500 a month per child. That is less than $20 per day.

You better read the article slower. It says the value of all welfare programs, not just SNAP. Nobody has to buy a SNAP's card. What would be the point of that? You simply have to show an X income level and they mail it out to you every month. It's like Section 8. They give you a voucher every month and these people are using it to rent homes in the suburbs, something some working Americans can't afford to do.

There are a number of unintended consequences of overturning Roe v Wade
  • Requests for vasectomies and tubal ligation have increased significantly in the Abortion Banned states, as much as 900% in some areas.
  • The morning after pill is running in short supply as women in banned states are buying up local supplies
  • The FDA made shipment of abortions pills through the mail legal opening the way for mail order buying.
  • Producers of the abortion pills are increasing inventories preparing for increased demand.
  • 6 states have started funds to help the poor travel to states that offer abortion services
  • Planned Parenthood now has a 300 million dollar fund to assist low income women get abortions
  • Over 30 major corporations including Amazon, Starbucks, and Microsoft have announced they will pay for travel for employees and families to get an abortion.
  • Doctors in the banned states report large numbers of requests for birth control pills, and other types of contraception.
  • Interviews with women in banned states indicate women will begin paying more attentions to contraception and use the day after pill.
It is looking more like the the hundreds of thousands of unwanted babies birthed by women under threat of arrest will be far less than the right anticipated due to more attention to contraception, the day after pill, use of abortion pills, increased sterilization, and travel assistance to abortion clinics from a number of sources.
/----/ "Over 30 major corporations including Amazon, Starbucks, and Microsoft have announced they will pay for travel for employees and families to get an abortion."
Yeah, because buying a bus ticket and killing the baby is cheaper than paying for delivery and maternal leave.

Conservatives are supposed to only want laws to protect their own rights from others, not dictate what others are supposed to or not do to themselves.
And again, if conservatives were against abortion, then there would have always been that precedent in the US, and there isn't.
There were no laws against abortion until around 1880.
The Founders were not against abortion.
So people claiming to be against abortion now, are NOT conservatives.

The problem with you is you believe everything you think is Gospel. Only you know what rights are, only you can judge what a conservative is, only you know what's illegal or not. Everybody else in the country is wrong.

Does not matter that abortion was not brought up on the federal level.
The POINT is that there were no STATE or LOCAL laws against abortion before about 1880.

Historically the rate of infant mortality was so high that many people do not give permanent names to their children until they are around 10 years of age or so.
They did not consider children to be fully human until around 10 years of age.

and what is wrong with that?

How is sending it back to the states about bigger government?

No what its about is the Constitution, something you leftist turds abhor. You have it right there in your avatar.....its unfortunate you havent actually read it.
That Republicans will seek a Federal abortion ‘ban’ is further proof that ‘banning’ abortion wasn’t about ‘saving babies’; the same is true of Missouri Republicans advocating that women who have abortions in free states where the procedure is legal should be subject to criminal prosecution.

For the neo-fascist, authoritarian right ‘banning’ abortion is about more government, bigger government at the expense of individual liberty.

‘Banning’ abortion is bad public policy and reckless, irresponsible, incompetent governance.

When it happens, then complain about it. You are all upset over your own projections that never happened.

How many fewer do you think the overturning of RvW will bring?

Ironically, if the number does go down it will be because people are being more cautious
If the number goes down it won’t be the consequence of ‘banning’ abortion, it will be because ban states will no longer document the procedure.

Women in ban states will continue to have abortions, of course, doctors will simply call it something else. And women in ban states will continue with medical termination of their pregnancies.

And free states will document an increase in abortions as women in ban states travel to have the procedure.

Again, overturning Roe was about partisan rightwing politics, not ending abortion.

Blame

Blame yourselves.

You took "safe, legal, and rare" and went full retard with "kill it up until the point of birth"

you retarded leftists are your own worse enemy. Im glad you went full retard. You woke up the other side and they took action.

so go fuck yourself. I'm even fine if you have an abortion after doing so!!!! get to it.

Why can't people just get to grips with basic sex education? If they don't want a baby, then use two or more contraceptives, or pick a different orifice.
Better question: why can’t conservatives stop using the authority of the state to interfere in citizens' private lives.

Answer: because as Christo-fascist authoritarians they seek to compel conformity and punish dissent.

You're one of the lucky one. You aren't 1 of the millions that get aborted yearly.
If conservatives were serious about ending abortion, the last thing they’d do is ‘ban’ the procedure.

Bans don’t work – whether its guns, Prohibition, or abortion.

That’s why for the neo-fascist authoritarian right ‘banning’ abortion isn’t about ‘saving babies,’ it’s about more government, bigger government at the expense of individual liberty.

As always. How much of this new unforeseen commerce will end up enriching blue states more than the instigating states?
There’s already a built in healthcare tourism bump for blue states as restrictions limit availability in red states. It’s also backed by corporate sponsors who pledged to cover the cost of travel for services.
We should thank the red states for consolidating and capitalizing the future growth of blue state GDPs.
It will be another manifestation of the Great American Divide: red states becoming poorer and more backward, blue states becoming more prosperous and advanced.
