Hawley introduces bill to remove FDA approval for Mifepristone

I am all for helping women if it saves the lives of the unborn.

You?
If you can prove that increasing welfare leads to fewer abortions, then the debate might be a little different.

Until then, you are just another statist advocating for wealth transfer and as usual hiding behind children as the excuse.

So no women ever chooses abortion over the costs of having a baby?

No women ever wonders how she will work and care for a baby?

So no, I guess. Bombs, hurray though.

If that was true MAGA wouldn't be trying to make them jump through additional hoops to vote.

That is such a cool trick

I'm sure some women do want an abortion due to the costs. I'm sure some women want an abortion because they are convinced that their baby will grow up to be the anti-Christ. Doesn't mean it makes sense.

I can't make the leap to say that increasing welfare will lead to fewer abortions. That is too counter-factual given that both welfare and abortions increased dramatically between the Johnson era and the W. era. Is there any study anywhere linking increased welfare with decreased abortions?

There is so much financial assistance available to women with babies whose income is below the poverty level and in many cases well above the poverty level, that a woman thinking she will have an abortion to avoid expenses needs financial counseling (and birth control), not more free stuff.

More deflection.

This is the knee-jerk reaction of the American socialist. To recommend "more free stuff!" as the solution to every problem, and to deflect when asked to defend that stance.

More free stuff......a billion dollars a day to appease a psychopath.

What happened to "let the states decide"? Oh, ... you know, I bet they were just ---- LYING!!!!
