1) Iran already has stated a desire to destroy America (and Israel) if it achieves its nuclear ambitions.
2) Any such ambition directly threatens our peace here at home.
3) A failure to stop those ambitions would destroy the peace here.
4) An achievement of nuclear operability by Iran would allow it to extort the international community by allowing it to threaten trade passing along the Strait of Hormuz.
5) Such a threat to trade could likely raise prices of goods worldwide, including here, resulting in YOUR suffering.
Therefore, to preserve the peace, those ambitions must be curtailed. The potential for extortion must be stopped. Some of you think peace means "no war, ever, under most circumstances." But sometimes peace has to be preserved by going to war, preemptively. If all it takes is a few bombs, so be it.
This strict definition of "peace" makes some all too unreasonable.
