Think about it. Our bases are in the middle of the desert. They aren't clustered up like civilian buildings, nor do they encompass a wide area like cities do. You would need a warhead with a yield far greater than the ones on the ballistic missiles, and have them strike within at least 1000 feet of a base.

Iran lacks the precision necessary to hit our bases with those missiles. Consider the capability of the adversary.
