How is bombing a country that poses no threat to the USA, NOT betraying his promise to be a peace president? Bombing isn't peaceful, what so ever.

Israel is a staunch ally of the United States, and we support their right to exist and be free from Islamic violence, thus we continue to rightfully arm them and since Iran and Israel are at war, Iran has threatened any nation that sides with them and thus we are in turn threatened, so we've moved forces over to the region to protect our bases, ships and troops. We also shoot down any drones and missiles fired at our "ally."
So, conditions change and to just sit back and ignore any an being attacked, is stupid, to put it politely.
Frankly, I consider all of Islam an enemy of our western culture. It's still grounded in its 7th century conquering/warrior mentality and will never stop. Look at all non-Muslim nations where Muslims of any considerable number reside and there is always violence perpetrated on non-Muslims. Islam is divided into two houses. The House of Islam, which consists of its teachings, laws and observances and its House of War, which conducts conventional and asymmetrical warfare to further its goal of conquering the world, the asymmetrical being the guerilla attacks and individual violence against infidels.

There’s a logical problem here. Trump was just welcomed as a hero by Saudi Arabia. Trump is providing arms to Saudi.

1) Iran already has stated a desire to destroy America (and Israel) if it achieves its nuclear ambitions.

2) Any such ambition directly threatens our peace here at home.

3) A failure to stop those ambitions would destroy the peace here.

4) An achievement of nuclear operability by Iran would allow it to extort the international community by allowing it to threaten trade passing along the Strait of Hormuz.

5) Such a threat to trade could likely raise prices of goods worldwide, including here, resulting in YOUR suffering.

Therefore, to preserve the peace, those ambitions must be curtailed. The potential for extortion must be stopped. Some of you think peace means "no war, ever, under most circumstances." But sometimes peace has to be preserved by going to war, preemptively. If all it takes is a few bombs, so be it.

This strict definition of "peace" makes some all too unreasonable.

Destroy the launchers and TELs Iran is using to launch them. Israel has +/- 50% destroyed already. With America's help, their capacity to launch ballistic missiles anywhere will be obliterated even quicker.

Iran's military apparatus is in disarray, while ours is not. We keep our focus on where it belongs and do not get drawn in further, then great. The quicker we get this done, the quicker we can get out and move on with our lives. Leave the nation-building to the Iranians. Let them kill the Ayatollah and weed out the radical clerics living there.

Before Trump ended the agreement we had with them, American companies were starting to trade with Iran. If AIPAC didn't own so many of our congressmen, and Trump, we'd have a lot bigger trade with them than we do Israel.
