Can't say. What I can say is that the mullahs had a lot of opposition prior to the conflict. Now that they have been severely weakened, they are much more vulnerable. That is a good thing from a US perspective. Granted, anti-Trumpers dont care what is good for the US.

Im not discounting the damage done to the Iranian military, but I don’t think it was the Iranian navy that was preventing an uprising.

Thousands of Americans have declared bankruptcy, some more than once, but lefties don't demonize any of them except for Trump. Go figger. Many of Trump's critics are on the government dole and have not owned or operated any business of their own in their entire lives.
