Can't say. What I can say is that the mullahs had a lot of opposition prior to the conflict. Now that they have been severely weakened, they are much more vulnerable. That is a good thing from a US perspective. Granted, anti-Trumpers dont care what is good for the US.

Im not discounting the damage done to the Iranian military, but I don’t think it was the Iranian navy that was preventing an uprising.
