His Oath of Office states that he must, "Preserve, Protect and Defend The Constitution against all enemies both foreign and domestic". He does NOT get pick and choose what parts of the Constitution he likes and does not like.

I love this. It is a perfect example of what I said in a thread about NPR. NPR is very left-slanted and Trump-deranged. But it's pseudo-journalists are less well-trained than the ones on other broadcast networks and CNN/MSNBC.
They keep letting facts slip out that are counter to the narrative. From your link.
"I don't know," Trump said. "I have to respond by saying, again, I have brilliant lawyers that work for me, and they are going to obviously follow what the Supreme Court said. What you said is not what I heard the Supreme Court said. They have a different interpretation."
Clearly he didn't mean that he didn't know if should uphold the Constitution. He said, "I don't know" to mean "I don't know how to answer such an idiotic question. Then he addressed any child like fears that he hates the Constitution or whatever. He said that he has lawyers to help him make sure he stays within the law and the Constitution.
This time, the sky is not really falling, Jim. Relax.

They were talking about is he responsible for getting this prisoner back, like 7 questions that were all a different version of the same question.
She then asked "Are you responsible for upholding the constitution"
He said "I don't know..." and then went on talking about he doesn't know if there is a constitutional reason he has to do this.
He - OBVIOUSLY - was not talking about does he have to uphold the constitution generally.
He was saying he doesn't know if there is a constitutional directive he has to uphold in returning this prisoner.
Clear as day. - And - AGAIN - the media lies and parrots like the OP - repeat.
