I remember Trump winning by 78,000 votes across three states which in my mind should have meant an automatic recount in those three states...and promptly shutdown by those three states (wonder why?). I remember the whole Russian allegations mysteriously not fully coming to light until AFTER the election. We are a Republic ruled within the framework of a Democracy. When 57% or more of those casting votes are exempt from financial liability resulting from legislative consequences then the evolutionary movement toward national socialism should be expected.
The saving hope was the educational system.
