Trump is basing this statement on leaks about the virus being airborne coming out of China in December which I'm sure his weekly security briefings covered in detail. The fact is the WHO, can not release unverified data. It would be a violation of their charter to do so and China is always slow in disclosing healthcare emergencies in China. The problem is not the WHO but rather Donald Trump's lack of understating of how the organization works. Being a member of WHO does not give member nations inside information as what is happening in other countries. That is they do not and can not act as an intelligence agency.
