I would imagine that a right-wing conservative would welcome a tax cut for workers, be it overtime or not. They don't like the overtime, since their mentality is:

The paying consumer will be responsible for my wages, isn't that nice? There is a huge difference between taking less of what someone earns vs taking from those that earn and giving it to those that don’t. The child tax credit is a great example. Those that pay taxes get a tax credit, not a deduction. The credit or proposed credit will be 6k per child under 1. If a person pays 20k/yr in taxes, they would only pay 14k. For a person that pays $0 federal income tax, one would think they would get nothing, but no, they get a check for $6k for every child under 1 and additional for other minors. One is welfare and the other is taking less from what someone earns.
