NASHVILLE, TN – Exiled Tennessee state Rep. Justin Jones is expected to be reinstated Monday after a Republican supermajority booted him from the state Legislature last week for participating in a gun safety protest inside the chamber.

The Nashville Metro Council is voting Monday afternoon to temporarily fill the seat before a special election. It’s anticipated that Jones, 27, will earn enough votes from council members to regain his former seat. The Black freshman lawmaker is planning to then lead a march to the statehouse and return to work just as the Legislature gavels in for an evening session.

As usual you completely missed the point of all of this. Let me ONCE AGAIN set you straight. There was this terrible mass shooting that involved a White Trans(?) who killed 3 kids and 3 school teachers. People in the community got pissed and took over the Tennessee State House demanding they "do something!!" about random shootings. The Tennessee Three, two of whom were black incited the crowd to be more violent which led to their expulsion.

This was a particularly cynical example of what the Democrats do. They take a tragedy and morph it into what they want it to be. In this case they got a two-fer. A gun control crisis AND a discrimination crisis and COMPLETELY IGNORED the real victims. Then Biden put the cherry on top by inviting the Tennessee Three to the White House.
