Zone1 The US constitution

Teachers' unions have no power in the vast majority of the school districts nationwide. They are unions in name only. Did you know there are no teachers' unions in the state of Texas?

Teachers' unions do not set policy. they negotiate contracts and try to influence policy by threatening to strike if their demands are not met in regard to those policies and compensation. Compensation is off the board in most districts that do not have the right to strike.
Hmmmmm, TSTA might disagree with you.

The founding fathers found against kings.
If they had done the same for a queen we would have already forgot about trump who saved us from one
They never envisioned that a felon would ever run for president.
because they knew it should be left to the electorate, not the say so of opposition politics.

You forgot the word "some". There are no such problems in any schools where I taught except one, and that was in a deep blue city. In effect, I was dismissed because I was too conservative.

The university I attended for my BA was recently listed as the 2nd most conservative university in the nation that was not religious in nature and a public institution.
Its gotten much worse

That's not a union, dumbass. It is a professional association.
With ties to the biggest teachers union in the US. You forget, dummy, I'm an academic too.

Just a lot higher educated than you.

Last I checked you never taught a Graduate level class.

A professional association has no power. You are simply wrong. Perhaps your education was faulty.

You have some serious issues. You should seek help.
Why do they exist. Try answering the question you are so desperately trying to avoid.

Remember sonny, I have been doing it longer, and at a far higher level than you.

You're the brain sturgeon with decades of public school teaching experience, so why don't you know?
I do know, and I also know that YOU, are lying.

Intellectual dishonesty is the worst thing you can accuse a so called academic of, and I am laying that appellation on you.

Have a nice day, junior.

Then why do you vote for those to represent you and make laws? Aka, representative democracy.
No, the USA is and always was a representative republic. The founders, quite correctly, feared mob rule, that’s why they designed three quarters (Senate, Presidency, and Supreme Court) of the government to NOT be elected by the people. Only the House of Representatives was directly elected. The Senate was appointed by the state governors, the President was chosen by the Electoral College and the Supreme Court was appointed by the President with the advice and consent of the Senate.
