That...

1) Voter ID will keep black people from voting.

2) placing guardrails on mail-in voting will stop black people from voting, or

3) anything in the SAVE Act will disenfranchise the black community,

Let me ask you this up front:

Did you, as a black person vote in the last election? The last primary? Did you have any black friends who voted separately or alongside you?

If you answered yes to any of those questions, then I'm afraid I have news for you:

You are a shining example of what black voter disenfranchisement shouldn't look like.

If you believe black people are being denied that right, and are black yourself, yet you're still voting despite years of freely traveling to your polling place without whites rioting, flipping your car, or burning crosses in your yard because you did, then you are a living, breathing contradiction of that belief, and that such a thing exists only in the figments of your mind.

Any new restrictions will disenfranchise some voters.

And until the right wing liars prove that in-person voting fraud is actually a significant problem, it's not worth possibly disenfrachising even one single voter.

So you can toss out all of your pre-programmed talking points, because it just boils down to this.

And especially given the recent lies of the right wingers, not a single inch should be given to them on this, until the paid liars who fooled the gullible right wingers about election fraud publicly apologize and admit they lied.

There is a reason that Senate Republicans don't support this bill.....they know it might hurt Republican voters just as much as Democratic voters.

Of course, that thought probably never even entered your mind.

The SAVE Act will blow up in Trump's face....just like everything else does.

Oh? 80% of the American public support the bill.

I'd show you a poll but you'd dismiss it.

Under the SAVE ACT the Trump Fed could unilaterally declare that all registered independents failed their system test and kick them off voter lists three days before the election, without recourse.

If Republicans are too stupid to vote, I'm fine with that.

In tests of the system, error rates are hovering at 12-14%. Meaning, 12% of the viters identified as ineligible are actually eligible.

Republicans dont care. That's a BONUS, as far as they are concerned. The entire point is to reduce turnout, which they believe favors the GOP. So this is like gravy, to them.

Huh?

Source? Most Americans don't know what is in that horrible bill.

If it's so good then why don't Republicans have the votes to pass it in the Senate? They don't have 50 votes, let alone 60 votes.

Er, was there a rebuttal in there somewhere?
Yes, that was me telling you I wasn't interested in your strawman. With a little effort, you could deduce that I was calling your claim bullshit.

But I am happy to walk you through this.

Feel free to address the point i made earlier, if you are up to it.

Pull the pdf and show me the text. The onus is on you to substantiate this claim.

If the bill gave him that kind of power, passing it would give a Democrat the same power, in such case, that would be highly ill-advised, and something Dems in Congress would likely be piling on to support.
