It shouldn't even have be mandated.
A scummy employer , will take advantage.
Very good point, why would any employer not already do this.

I read it.See post#11. Apparently you don’t read threads. But you post.
Don’t be such a bitch. Treating people with kindness isn‘t going to hurt you. You’re the government stooge supporting this authoritarian action taking power away from localities.where does it end pantyliner? They must send a bus to pick you up at home? Driving is dangerous? just SHUP you Govt stooge.
I dunno....I didn't think we have all the details here. OSHA already has standards in place that the state cannot ignore. So the question I have is what did the newly proposed statutes enumerate? I think I have an idea.DeSantis signs bill banning the requirement of heat and water breaks for outdoor workers
Florida is seeing two more recent instances of state government under Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis limiting the powers of local government with newly-signed bills that deal with worker safety and police oversight.www.fox35orlando.com
A bill signed Thursday bans local governments from requiring heat and water breaks for outdoor workers. And a bill DeSantis signed Friday strips local citizen police oversight boards from investigating officers.
So, via two bills the party of small Govt took away freedoms from smaller Govt and put all the power at the state level.
First off, why the fuck would anyone fight against mandatory water breaks in fucking Florida of all places. It is just not a good look.
But that aside, actual conservatives think that governing should be done at the lowest possible level. The state removing power from smaller governments is the opposite of conservatism.
OSHA already regulates this.I read it.

I will never get tired of that picture.
Shrieking Chicken bawks something, meh.Spoken like the true Big Govt nanny state supporter that you are.
Most conservatives are for limited FEDRAL government, in line with the original intent of the Constitution vis a vis federal government.
Also remember power in a State flows DOWN from the State government to local governments via home rule provisions. You aren't a citizen of Orlando for example, you are a Citizen of Florida, and local governments only have the powers given to them by the State Constitution and State laws.
OSHA already regulates this.
Oh FFS, he's eliminating government over regulation not increasing it.Real conservatives are for governing to be done at the lowest level possible where the people have the most power over what is done

They do.OSHA already regulates this.
Second there are State and Federal laws for these types of worker protections, commiecrat counties don't need to get involved.
And if you were a police officer, would you want people to have your fait in their hands, if they have no experience in law enforcement and have a possible anti-police agenda?
