And each time the protests occurred their was good reason.The riots and looting that seldom occurs at the same time are an unfortunate event. Not part of the protests. By comparison that was the intent of the Jan. 6th. People that trump stirred up. They allowed their emotions to take over just as trump planned. Well not quite, he wanted a much bigger , bloodier mess so he could declare martial law and take over. Again , stupid , anyone could see right through it. But that's the way trump is , almost totally unhinged and stupid. Tricks like this might have worked on people years ago but not today.

Protests are justified by the injustices that caused them to occur In the case of Floyd that injustice was verified by the following legal case against the criminal actions and neglience of the police officer. In the case ofJan 6th the imaginary injustice that trump claimed proved to be a lie. Again verified by the convictions.

IMHO, the problem with progressive liberals is that they believe a larger and more intrusive gov't is compatible with protection individual civil rights.
In a perfect world that might be true, but such is not the case. Human nature results in wrongs done to certain people and groups...

If one is going to do that you may as well say no one making $200,000 or less had to pay any taxes. The responsible thing to do is make taxes more equitable for everyone instead of giving certain people tax breaks. But it was a sensational move so trump went with it no matter how ill-advised it was in principle. Just another scam he went with. It worked for all the fools.

Additional.info. The Marshall Project " Trump remains very popular here: We surveyed 54,000 people behind bars about election. 10-17-2024. Most preferred trump. One inmate even said , " trump is my hero. There's a criminal who made it all the way to the top. " The pollsters were shocked by all the support trump had in.the prisons.
