Although I was looking forward to meeting the son of Captain Jack Sparrow, I'm glad that they decided to cancel this. That way they can't ruin the franchise without JD coming back to his iconic role.

Well, JD took the death of his friend Jeff pretty bad a few years ago so I doubt there will be another Pirates with him, and being that #6 was a Disney effort anyway, it was already on shaky ground.
