“Dogma and law are two different things,” Feinstein lectured. “And I think whatever a religion is, it has its own dogma. The law is totally different. And I think in your case, professor, when you read your speeches, the conclusion one draws is that the dogma lives loudly within you.”

Conservatives were furious. They were also delighted. Until then, Barrett was an elite only in narrow judicial circles. Feinstein, a non-lawyer herself, made Barrett into a populist hero with just six words: “The dogma lives loudly within you.”

Right-wing corners of the Internet lit up with memes celebrating the judge and mocking the senator. And the message was simple: “Hell, yeah, the dogma lives loudly.” One meme depicted Feinstein as Darth Vader uttering the melodramatic words, and around that time White House counsel Don McGahn got a bright idea. He had coffee mugs made, each stamped with Feinstein’s infamous words. And, sources tell RealClearPolitics, for the last three years the best way to flaunt one’s conservative credentials in this White House was to roll into a morning meeting with a “dogma” mug.

Hoisted by her own petard.

Feinstein must’ve forgotten about the Constitution’s Article VI “no religious test” clause, and she must’ve had no idea that her catchy little anti-Catholic smear would one day be a potent rallying cry for Barrett’s supporters.

"no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States."

This has become a rallying cry for the religious and moderates in the US. Barrett has a history of following the law as written in her decisions. Democrats have nowhere to hide on this one.

Barrett is a college educated middle class suburban wife.... Handling her like the plague will be the death of the democrat party.

Barrett definitely doesn't fit the new norm.

In the old terms, Barrett is the ultimate feminist. She speaks her mind regardless of her detractors, loves and mothers her kids with her whole heart, and passionately pursued a successful career all the way to a Supreme Court nom. Barrett doesn't do what she's told, and that's what feminists really can't stand.

She knows.

She doesn't care.

This is the same piece of LIbtARd filth who, much earlier in her career, on a more local scale, had a pet gun control law struck down, who said of it something to the effect of “I don't care if it's unconstitutional; I still think it's a good law.”

That is the attitude that has dominated her entirely career as a politician. She knows that much of what she supports is unconstitutional, but she doesn't care.
