The Daily 202: A third-place finish in South Carolina would be a huge setback for Ted Cruz

Frank is merely unhappy that the mainstream GOP continues to crap all over the far right and always will do so.
Neither a far left or a far right candidate will win a general election. The DNC will prevent a Sanders nomination as the RNC will prevent a Cruz nomination.

Yeah, he is fading a bit. I think the whole 'Canadian' thing is hurting him. Trump really is pounding him on it. And Rubio's picking up steam. The Neocons (Nazis) realize Bush is all done. So they're gonna start pouring money into Rubio's campaign.

The old-guard Neocons aren't Cruz fans. Neocons like McCain and Boehner routinely attack him. Rubio is clearly their boy. But Cruz isn't not done yet. Still plenty of time. Stay tuned.

politically....

Rubio can win a general election. Cruz can not. And the GOP wants a candidate that can win. Not simply run.

Do you blame them?

Jake is happy that in 2016 his Dems are openly embracing their Inner Mao, no longer will they have to hide their "Little Red Book" in the secret hiding spot.

If they nominate another Neocon (Nazi) like Rubio, i'll leave the Party. I'm completely over the Neocon madmen. I won't support them creating their Police State and starting WWIII.

And even Cruz worries me a bit. He's moving closer & closer to the crazy Neocons. He's especially moving closer to the fanatical religious ones. Those people are truly insane. They will drag us into WWIII and implement their Police State. I'm gonna go with Trump. He's doing his own thing. I respect that.

Most of the Sanders supporters are students that have never paid a dime of taxes in their life. When the DNC blocks his nomination, those students will kick and scream....but when they get their first paycheck and see 28% taken out for federal, 8% for state, 6.2% for FICA, 1.45% for medicare.....in other words....when they see they come home with only 56% of their salary....they will thank God the DNC blocked a man that wanted to raise taxes to 70% plus.

Read your thread title. It clearly says South Carolina.
I am talking about Cruz not Trump's numbers in SC. You know that,so don't play coy. Even if Cruz does finish third or fourth, he is not leaving the race. If Carson drops, and the other five stay in, we will have a brokered convention, and then Romney. Heaven help us.
You're the one being disingenuous here. You started a thread about South Carolina and now you're switching it to "nation wide polling" because you don't like being proven wrong.
You tried to change it to Trump and I slapped you down. The OP is about Cruz, and, yes, if Rubio beats him down it will be tough for him. And, yes, Trump seems nationally to have plateaued.
You're the one who mentioned Trump's numbers, stupid.
And then jumped me on it, not understanding that one can comment on matters relative to the OP.

S. J., you are stupid. You can learn but refuse to. Change your stupid ways.
That's what I did, moron. You brought up Trump, said he couldn't get above 30% (which is not true), and I corrected you. Then, because you felt stupid, you said you were talking about "nationwide polls" (which ALSO is not true). Look at the polls to which you're referring. His numbers are not at 30% nationwide, they are in the 40's. You are an idiot, Jake, who can't stand being wrong, though you're wrong in nearly everything you post. This thread is just one more example.

Spot On. I actually kinda like ole Sanders though. Gotta admit, i wouldn't mind seeing him stick it to the greedy Corporate Fat Cats. They sure got it coming to em. It would be fascinationg watching the war unfold. But in the end, he's just not a realistic candidate. He isn't qualified to be President.

Are you a libertarian or a socialist? You seem confused.

Neither. I can't be labelled. I do like Sanders a bit. I would love to see someone harass the Corporate assholes who own our Government. They're completely out of control. I think he would reign em in a bit.

But unfortunately, i think he would do too much damage in the process. His tax plans overall are pretty absurd. His spending plans are even more absurd.

Now you are on the run, S. J. My comment about 30% was the national percentage not SC, as you well know.

Fox and CBS this week have Trump nationally at 36 and 35, so he has climbed in the last week, but he is not "in the 40's". So, as usual, you are wrong.

As the other candidates drop out, their voters will not be going to Trump.

He will not be the nominee.

S. J. likes to label, folks. Saves him from thinking.

Not in the 40's? From the poll you mentioned earlier.

We were talking about GOP SC and national polling, and you are citing four Election polls of the last two weeks in which Clinton beats Trump? You are mental. Try compartmentalizing.

Trying to change the subject again, I see. I didn't say Trump beats Hillary in the national polls. YOU said he didn't poll above 30% nationally. I just posted the link that to the latest polls that show him securely in the 40's. You are full of shit.

That's in a general election. Heck, just about anyone can get "in the 40's" if they are one of only 2 candidates.

But as it pertains to the primaries......Trump has peaked. He wont get more than 40% if even that much when all is said and done. Once he is up against one candidate in the primaries, he will run second.

Whereas Bush voters will trend to Rubio....and Rubio voters to Bush...and Kasich voters to either of them...the only candidate who may have voters trend to trump is Carson....and I am referring to ONLY those that want Carson because he is an outsider.

But I don't see Cruz Rubio Bush or Kasich voters trending to trump.

I just don't see it.

I know that. I'm responding to Jake's ridiculous assertion that Trump can't get above 30% NATIONALLY. I proved him wrong on S.C. polling and he tried to say he was talking about "nationally". Then I proved him wrong on that and he's still trying to dance his way out of that.
