I agree; the rhetoric needs to be toned down, but if people think the rhetoric is mostly coming from the right, then they apparently dont pay attention to left wing progressive media. They are the WORST offenders when it comes to spewing hate and rhetoric.

Ive issued a challenge in the past. Spend a week listening to michaelangelo signorile and Dean obiedallah, then spend a week listening to wilkow and Webb, or hannity, or Beck, or levin, and then come back here and report. Nobody has accepted that challenge yet. But its not just those guys, its pretty much all ledt wing media, who spew the same sentiment, making blanket statements about how all trump supporters or conservatives are all "racist, misogynist, anti semitic, deranged, gun loving lunatics who want to shoot everyone". Hell, you even have members of Congress spewing that same rhetoric.

Also, why is it the left always want to tone down the rhetoric when someone on the right gets shot but if its someone on the left, they want to ratchet UP the rhetoric by playing the blame game, and talking about how "maga is the problem", and again make blanket statements like "the racist maga agenda caused this" or something of the sort.

I agree, we do need to tone down the rhetoric, but often the left says that, but then they are the ones who ramp it up again.
