Massie says Trump among those who should tone down rhetoric
The anger in this country is clearly increasing rapidly. It's being caused by inflammatory public rhetoric. The fact is, the rhetoric from both ends of the political spectrum is terribly harmful.
Right now, this country is led by a man who
insults, mocks, attacks, intimidates, threatens, name-calls and trolls his political opposition every single goddamn day. And his fans/enablers cheer & enable him more, every single time he does it.
No one else behaves like that. There is no other person who is contributing to the increase in anger in this country than its own President. MAGA can deny this all it wants. And it is lying. It is not mistaken or delusional. It is LYING.
The ends of both sides of the spectrum are making this worse. The overall blame lies with both ends of the spectrum. And those of us in between the ends too, for that matter. And among that group, any individual who is violent is at the very top of the list. But there is one (1) person who is MOST to blame. Of all people, OF ALL PEOPLE, it's our very own President, the man who is supposed to be serving ALL Americans. He is failing America in real time.
