Of course, anyone knows that (to my knowledge) no cellphones are made in the USA. We gave consumer manufacturing to Asia ages ago. That is to say we can't, just that you can't justify building an entire manufacturing plant just to make one phone, for a niche market no less.

So I see the Made In USA more as a marketing thing. The phone markets Americanism and is in fact mostly made in America.

The idea has merit and if not wholly successful yet this time, I can see a day in a few years where phones can be entirely made in America and be in a current design and software in several models to choose from.

And God Fordid, have the right number of stripes on the flag too, so rather than lust look good, it is technically 100% correct as well for all of the whiny, needledick-buttmunchers out there looking for something to complain about.

I never complained about any quality product that Trump sold, franchised or branded. My complaints were only about rip-offs that Trump put his name on. While pushing that his name meant superior, American Made products. While most of his MAGA merchandise is made in China.
So over a year ago Trump announced a golden cellphone that would be "Made in America".
And like his Trump watches, which promised quality movements, ended up made with Chinese parts. Even his $100,000 watch featured a Swiss movement, assembled with Chinese parts.
