I've spent the last several years trying to get a better understanding of this thing. I understand it more now, but this rage. While have theories, I'll probably never fully understand that.

The best comparison I can come up with is the day after 9/11, when we learned that all these people in the M.E. had been at war with us all that time. Huh? What? War? And those people were telling themselves that WE were at war with THEM.

They're definitely winning their war, and they have their Dear Leader to attack their enemy, but they definitely don't have much of a contextual grasp of history.
