Obama did far worse than protest, he took Government action when he was in his final days to overthrow the Government. Schiff was in the action as well. You can't get rid of Obama, but Schiff still can be dealt with.

Bill Clinton wasn't convicted or removed from the office either, but he too was Impeached by the House. Nothing the DOJ can do can reverse the impeachment votes. There is no Constitutional eraser that will ever take them away.
