A great description of the abuse of this power.

"Jonathan Turley, a law professor at George Washington University and a Fox News contributor, criticized Democrats over vows to impeach President Trump for a third time if they regain control of Congress after this year’s midterm elections."

This, of course, is the OP so we'll stick to Truley's remarks.

He goes on:

"Turley described the effort as “revenge” and “straight retaliation,” arguing that it risks making a mockery of impeachment. He pointed out that Democrats have, in his view, moved forward without formal investigations or hearings, effectively turning the process into something akin to a British-style vote of no confidence."

And this might be something we consider. If they keep talking like this, then I suggest that Kagen, Sotomeyer, and Jackson (especially Jackson) face a hearing to determine if they should be removed. This is part of the hard line stance suggest by others that I agree with. If we don't start taking it out of their hides.......and making it seem like we are ready to throw haymakers, then we are setting outselves up for failure.

Start kicking these losers out of the House and the Senate.

Jonathan Turley is possibly the most brilliant legal mind in the country right now. He has been calling the Democrat law fare and shredding of the Constitution for years. Nothing is stopping them, they are obsessed with GET TRUMP.

It's one of about 4 things that could bring the Republic down.

If they impeached him over something like they tried before......for sure.

The Democrats are out of control and getting worse by the day.
I watched Turley earlier today and was genuinely disturbed.
He's no a partisan hack. He's a total pro and a legal expert and he knows the Democrats are hell bent on destroying Trump and the Republican Party just as sure as Sherman was hell bent on marching to the sea and setting everything on fire.
If the Democrats get into power again, expect a campaign of retribution and revenge the likes of which we've never seen in American history.
Mark my words ... and I do not say this lightly or to get a reaction.
If the Democrats continue on their current path, it WILL lead to another civil war.
You read it here first.

We are already on the cusp of a civil war.

Yep. Before the next Presidential election, I think. If not, not far after that.
Agreed.
I want to be clear I am not rooting for it.
I don't want it in any way, shape or form. War sucks and it breaks my heart to see the direction in which we're headed.
But I fear it's here whether I like it or not.
And it will be very, very, very ugly.

No one in their right mind wants a civil war. But good men must sometimes bow to the unthinkable.

Exactly.
Because we are indeed the last best hope of mankind.
If the United States goes down, the world is done for a long, long time.
As somebody who has immense respect and admiration for our Founding Fathers, I find myself constantly asking myself, "What would they do in these current times?"
I know one thing: weak capitulation isn't one option.

Given that they took on the one World Superpower of their time --- And WON!, I agree with that statement.

This is not news or speculation. It is a certainty that if the Democrats take over the House, Trump will be impeached, with the articles of impeachment finalized long before these A-holes even take office at the beginning of '27.

Don't forget, this is virtually the same crew that had articles prepared before Trump took office in 2017.

The Left is evil.

I warned you guys after Harris lost thaf contrary to common belief and natural expectation, the Dems were not going to move to the center. There is too much money eminating from the far-left in yojr politics. Too much money in general really but the far-left are more deeply impacting your nation as the policies are most unAmerican. They are looking to weaken you, eliminate your Constitutuon etc.

Turley needs to wipe the mixture of fecal matter and spray tan off his nose.

So in Republican/Turley world, impeaching Clinton over a blow job is okay, but impeaching Trump for opening Concentration Camps is an abuse of the process?
