Maryland State Democrat leaders scored a strategic victory in preventing Wes Moore’s effort to gerrymander Maryland’s sole Republican district. Maryland Democrats calculated that this would be very risky to their position long-term as it could have backfired and they would lose seats….. all after Wes Moore is long gone from Maryland. Maryland is just a stepping stone for Moore.
